We Limit How Often You Can Do Certain Things On Instagram

Let's discuss why you might get the Instagram message "We limit how often you can do certain things" and what you can do to avoid it and what to do if it does happen to you.
There are several actions that might cause Instagram to stop you from particular actions. Anything that Instagram interrupts as spam can trigger the block such as following more than 150-200 accounts per day, liking more than 800-1000 posts a day, or commenting more than 180-200 times per day. If you have been blocked logging out and logging back in might help but you might have to wait 1-7 days before Instagram lets you do the action again. If you are getting the message despite not having done any of these spam actions, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Doing this on an Android or Apple phone might help. You can also report the problem to Instagram though they are not consistent in their responses.

It is suppose to be ‘social’ media and there is a limit on likes??? I was doing quite a bit of likes today but never reached 100 and comments of appreciation and then I edited my description of some of my posts to enhance my message. I thought the whole idea was all that is listed in not what to do. I have been getting problems with over 18+ stuff and those I block because I am not interested. Many fake profiles too. Best to tackle the undesired rather than the genuine. Sure people who a mass followers only to unfollow them just to score nos… I get that, but why pick on small accounts from small communities?

@@thesynxz I’ll try my best to explain what I did. I deleted Instagram app and went to Instagram website on google chrome (iPhone) . When you log in it will bring you to a white page. Pull down to refresh the page multiple times until it takes you to a page that says “your story goes against our community guidelines”. you press the button “next” a couple times till it takes you to the next page that shows the story that was flagged. Then you will see a “OK” button, click that a couple times til it takes u back to your Instagram. After that re download Instagram app and log back in. Hopefully you understand, good luck :)
