so "P xor not Q" is equivalent to "not (P xor Q)"?
@materialknight4 жыл бұрын
Yes, and thanks to your amazing insight, I know now that the following formulas are equivalent: ~(p⊕q), ~p⊕q, p⊕~q, p↔️q

I have some programming questions to deal with. it involves random exclusive sums like (1 XOR 7). can you guys make scenes out of that.

in the time stamp 1.42 how did u get those 0's? for pxorp, u said p is always going to be the same value as its self but i don't get it
@sitinurliana56145 жыл бұрын
p xor q = 1 only if p is not equal to q. Since p xor p is basically 0 xor 0 and 1 xor 1 so the result for both will be 0.

P is always going to be the same value as itself, so why is it 0 not 1 ?

If there is a third unknown variable, do we give them 1010 or 1100 in truth table?
@dylanang71734 жыл бұрын
It's been a while so I'm sure you don't need it, but for anyone in the future, if you had a third proposition, you'd need to make 2^3, or 8, rows, rather than 4. This is because with 3 propositions you have 8 possible combinations.

i guess there is a small error in this example..
@Trevtutor8 жыл бұрын
where?
@mattc166 жыл бұрын
Wondering if you have been frustrated over this "small error" that was never told to you for a whole year. I believe the "small error" he is talking about is that when you said the values for X V Y, you said, "one, one, one, one, one". That would be five ones, when there are only four xD
