Trey, Below Knee BK amputee, First Steps on Prosthetic Leg

Trey had “bad” knees before his amputation, so that made learning to walk again more difficult. He also had the extra challenge of a broken wrist, caused by a fall just a few weeks before his trip to POA. Needless to say, Trey was ready for his life to move in a more positive direction. His good attitude and work ethic took over and on day one we had him walking on a prosthetic leg! He continued to train for about another week, with the last lesson being walking up and down an incline similar to his driveway.
