Scouts look at outside physical traits. Trey can't read defenses, accuracy and efficiency issues. Way over drafted from a small school. Big SF draft mistake. This is Trey Lance… what you see is what you get. This is why SF dumped him. Kyle Shanahan is one of the best offensive coaches in the league.. if he saw a big upside to him, even if it was 2-3 years down the road, he would have kept him.. he didn’t, and now the Cowboys get to deal with this trash. He is a good athlete though, and could be useful in a Kordell Stewart type role where he plays occasionally as a scatback, WR, or option QB.

Not only did he pass perfect passes for many exciting catches by the receivers, he also ran 45 yards like a deer for a TD and another long run for a first down. We don't care about interceptions in a preseason game that is designed for the coaches, manager and team owner to decide who to put on the 53 man roster. We all know that very successful NFL quarterbacks have thrown many interceptions in a game like Tom Brady's 4 interceptions in 6 of his games he played as a franchise quarterback for the N.E. Patriots who now has 7 Super Bowl rings. Haters of NFL players only look at the negative in those players instead of the positive and I'm positive that Jerry Jones and coach McCarthy are very excited about what they see in Trey Lance.
