I completely agree but we'll never get that because of cheaters, if we have local saves then cheaters will find a way to modify that save and resign it just like they used to do before most games switched to cloud saves. Pretty much the only way to 100% avoid that is if they use server sided saves which sucks.

@@xd3athclawx554 it makes it so you can get stuff intended to be unlocked through progress without having to work for it. Set up a script and have it auto aim shoot for you. Easy peezy. I think, if they want to allow for local save files for zombies; if they catch you cheating, then you’ll only ever be put into multiplayer lobbies with other cheaters, or people reported for cheating. Makes so if they wanna cheat in zombies, it permanently ruins their gameplay experience. I have 0 respect for cheaters and hackers.

@@V1Zach They're never that serious or that persistent like BO6. The problems with the old games are simply people not being able to reach round 502869 cause of the in game limitations for its time. Or some rare never gonna happen occurence like dolphin diving onto another player in a weird angle on Kino. Very rarely did games ever crash even on launch with the exception of BO4 maybe. I'd rather not be able to reach round 210104928 cause of entity limits, or have the thundergun not fire every once in 1/100,000th time than have my game be unplayable every match because the servers I'm forced to play on are dog.

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this here, but I just played a multiplayer match and noticed that all my map data was reset as well. All the win percentage, K/D ratio data and whatnot for each map? It's reset as if I've never played a multiplayer match before. Not exactly a big deal, but for reference it is also a thing that this patch seems to have done. It did not reset my prestige or relock anything that I've spent unlock tokens on though, so that's good.

The zombies staggering after you gib them seems to just be a special detail they’ve added, kinda like how they also now visually show who they are aggro-ing onto. Honestly it’s very nice detail. They don’t move around too much to block you when you do it, they can’t hit you, and you still get the headshot points if you get a body shot after.

I know this isnt the best way to try and tell you things but I wanted to spread the word about this as fast as possible. After the update that released The Hit List event the kills do not track correctly. I just ended a zombies game (where every 5 kills is 1 credit) and i only recieved credit for about half of my kills. I then did the math to confirm and out of 3206 elims (including 1549 crits) I only received 344 credit which only equates to 1720 kills. This is a huge issue and one I can only hope is resolved quickly

I think that the saving quit feature is working as intended. If someone were able to save and quit while at low health, they can just panic press the pause button and quit and restart that round

I think you’re missing the point. The problem is that with the timer added if something comes up and you need to pause the game and it takes longer than the time you have left, that is wasted time(not including if you used gobble gums). I think it’s also an issue of Activision wanting to force players leave on their own volition (i.e. exfil or save and quit) so they can free up server space because they aren’t willing to pay for more servers.

The pause while on low health doesn’t save and quit is user error, not Treyarch. They say that if you have less than full health then it won’t save, it’s right there. If you want it to save then don’t pause at low health. It’s like getting mad you can’t teleport while in a fight - it says you can’t do it and it has very little requirement to change that. IT LITERALLY SAYS THAT IT WILL NOT SAVE AND QUIT IN THE PAUSE SCREEN IF YOU TAKE DAMAGE.

People like you are the reason Treyarch won’t fix the game. An inactivity timer shouldn’t even exist.

Why does inactivity timer exist in the first place? A solo gamemode has 0 reason to need to be hosted in a server. This is an excuse for a problem that shouldn't exist.

From a business perspective yes, because of it being online only, they need to be able to manage the servers. But being mad about the game not saving when you aren’t full health is not their fault, they literally told you it won’t save without being full health specifically to prevent exploits

All of my multiplayer classes got reset to default too, I’m not even surprised at this point. One of the biggest franchises in gaming and these sort of easy to spot bugs are still being pushed out on a near weekly basis

I just received -1 battle pass token after 1:15 time on zombies. This effectively means I got 1 token, because typically you would receive 2 tokens for that amount of time. Submitted a report with the video evidence for them to review (or not). Yes. My loadouts were wiped in MP and Zombies. All my "medals" were wiped in both MP and Zombies. Intel too. Etc. What you said. Edit: despite only having 1 token in my inventory, i was able to use two.... So its broken, but not entirely? Hard to say without replication or hearing from others with the experience.

The pause timer unpausing your game is intended if you're not at max health, it tells you at the top if you pause with less than full that if the timer expires it will unpause and you're not able to save and quit, unless I'm misunderstanding something here but it seems the only way to avoid it is don't pause the game and leave unless you're at full health and if you're going to be gone longer than 15 min probably just save and quit

Hey milo to bring this to your attention looks like the new update broke sprinting in zombies. At least for me my character will just stop sprinting and be as slow as the broken reload while tac sprinting last patch it doesn't matter if i have stanima or not so looks like i won't be able to play zombies for awhile now ⚰️ Edit: after some more testing it looks like whenever your sprinting your character just stops at a random point. And either walks or stands completely still and you have to press the sprint button again. This happens with stam or without. So it's similar with the "dead slides" that were happening in warzone now we got "dead sprints" in zombies

Exactly why local offline saves and progress have been and always will be the way to go. You can back the data up but even if you delete it like Treyarch did, the players still have local copies of the data.

The spawning with no gun bug is interesting because that is a similar bug to one that existed for the entirety of MWII DMZ and it never got fixed, hopefully it gets fixed for zombies. Hopefully the saves do get restored for zombies, but it wouldn't surprise me if they say that it was expected similar to losing recordings in theatre mode because its simply impossible to keep saves without patches causing frequent bugs in people's saves.

Zombies are taking crazy damage starting at round 10. I dont know if they upped their health or nurfed the asg, but its taking a lot.

That save file mistake is a massive ouch. I feel horrible for people with high-round saves. I had a save file for camos but thats no big deal.

about the heavys and light armored zombies, even if you shoot the armor off of their heads, it's still very difficult to get headshots and the bullets basically go through their heads

A fun little visual bug for everyone, with the SAUG akimbo equipped, if you go into third person and dive backward the right arm stiffens up in the air and the SAUG is just floating in mid air

In regards to the heavy zombies I have had the same issue. The basis of the issue is that when you shoot the helmet off, the "head" of the zombies would not register hit and act as if there is no head or body there, and bullets will just pass through dealing no damage to the zombie. This could sometimes fix itself after a short delay, not always and will more than likely still require body shots to kill. This was really annoying when I was grinding camos and past round 25. It appears to have been mostly fixed, but I still get the occasional outlier every other round or so.

in multiplayer sometimes you cant pull out your secondary even if you have it saved in your loadout, and the defualt ranked loadout has XMG on the melee slot and you can actually use it in game too

The visual bug with it removing your gun also happened my first ranked game. I was trying to use the atomic commando xm4 variant and for some reason I spawned with just my pistol. I had to use their default class the whole first game.

All these bugs are probably Treyarch not being used to this engine, they always had their own engine but Activision forced them onto the MW2019 engine this year

Which explains the entire omni-movement stuff as their previous engine used in cold war probably couldn't handle that.. But even then, like c'mon.. How hard is to not break the game for once on a patch? The game has been broken since launch..

2:20 i love it when i jump into a MP Match and I can't use my primary weapon, it's like the game thinks it has 8 attachments when im not running gunfighter and the weapon only has 5 attachments

As someone who takes having everything in zombies very seriously. I’m VERY upset about losing all of the intels and artifacts. I shouldn’t have to regrind out what I’ve already accomplished. This isn’t multiplayer prestige. It’s ZOMBIES. inflating my playtime by resetting my progress is not a good way to keep player retention. If anything it’ll make people quit right then and there.

yh the save and quit thing happened to me today in directed mode. i thought maybe the issue was just directed mode itself considering ive had a few issues already with it. one being in the terminus easter egg when getting the wionder weapon in the box without building it, the game still wants you to build it before moving on. its very annoying especially if you are trying to skip steps. just seems pointless
