I really do love this song. Coming back to it time and again. Would love it if you could do another recording with a slightly better acoustic environment. Would love a studio quality version we could purchase of this song in particular but many of your covers.

"Homecoming" is the first song I play when I start my woodworking projects but haven't since Mr. Hall passed away. Finally had the heart today to play it today while fixing my girlfriend's chair. And then, I "listened" to your video... man... what a wonderful tribute. Brought a tear to my eye. It warms my heart knowing there are people like you out there that respect the old greats.

Hi Trey I was wondering if you could give me a tip or two. I have been using medium picks my whole life but am gonna move up to heavier picks to get a thicker tone and better control (ultex 1.0) Is there any tips you could give me about using a heavier pick? Jake workman told me dont grip the pick real tight and just let it do the work while you keep your hands relaxed. Would you say that is pretty accurate? thanks!

Don’t like the run. It messes up the song’s flow and doesn’t fit.
