Thank you so much for sharing your story I was also a young mom and have raised my daughter alone as well so I can definitely relate and understand how you feel. Now I found someone who loves me and my daughter and I am very blessed to have wonderful support now because before I had to do it all alone which was very difficult. Sharing your story was so reassuring and I hope it helps other young mothers make the right decisions because when it comes to raising a baby it can be very challenging. Oh my gosh izzy, what an amazing mum you are. Your story is going to help so many people in a similar situation. Im 52 and was a single parent of 2 boys, now 31 and 34. One is now married with children of his own. I had my first at 17 and have never regretted it. Im so happy you and trey found each other. I think you are brave and string fir speaking up and telling us about being 17 and pregnant, knowing you’d be a single mom and then how much thought you put into the decision of adoption or parenting. Darling, it sounds like you made the right decision. I’m so happy you have Jonah. Babies are a blessing but they also can be a huge surprise and some of those big emotions during pregnancy are what most of us feel…. Choosing a name, wondering if we are going to be good enough…… but if you have a home filled with love, then you have everything. You sound like you have a gorgeous family around you and a church community that are real Christians…. Loving and supporting each other. Yes being a mom is hard but I have lived being a mom for 30 years and the only thing I’d change….. I’d have more babies ❤

I was 20 years when I got my first child now she’s 16 years old and I have other 2 kids after. Now I’m a single mom raising my three kids alone without any support. I’m a proud cause I know a still raise three amazing kids with good grades and there very polite with others. Also I turn 37 in July and I think I am good as a single parent. Your and Trey doing an amazing job with Jona and don’t be afraid to raise your child alone. We have ups and downs during the path but we have to learn with the mistakes. God bless you guys and this is an inspiration story to still continue raising my kids alone.

You guys are blessed. You and I went thru similar journeys except the only thing that is different is our age difference. I understand every emotion and everything you went thru because I was literally the same with my daughter. It definitely was super tough but it definitely made us stronger and taught us so much! I got 2 kids and you have one, but it's crazy how similar paths we went thru. I went through something so so similar to you but I had two children as both of there father's left me when I was pregnant with each of them but thankfully I met up with an old boyfriend who has took on my children as his own and to me and them he's not a stepfather he is there dad as far as me and them are concerned he loves them so much and they do him too and we've now been together for nearly 42 years as my son was 3 months and my daughter was around abouts I would say a year and a half nearly two when he came into our lives thank you trey for being there for izzy and jonah and best not step dad but dad role model for jonah some people were born to be step parents when the biological parent doesn't want to be part of there child's lives so thank you again trey
