I didn't get to say during the premiere but I love how you used japanese, what I think is punjabi (admittedly I am not super familiar with south asian languages, that's what I found when looking the word up), and portuguese for Deep Cut's part! The lyrics are inkredible, but, I'll admit: Splatoon 3 was the first game I got to participate in Splatfests. I missed out on Splatoon 1's because I got the game when Chuggaaconroy was doing his LP of that game, so I only played a little of the first game. I got annoyed with the online matches. So, I skipped Splatoon 2 & missed those Splatfests. In fact, I didn't know Splatfests were a thing until Chuggaaconroy showed the Callie & Marie Performances via Amiibo. I'm glad to say that I only missed Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors for Splatoon 3. Initially I only got the game because I saw I could get Sunglasses with the game. I'm serious, I got the game just for Sunglasses & wasn't intending on playing the game. Glad I did, because I would've missed out on the Grand Festival. I also would've never realized Splatfests could be fun. But, this means I did not get to really know the Squid Sisters & because I skipped Splatoon 2, that means Off The Hook were only introduced to me through their Spirit- and their song "Ebb & Flow", which made me think Pearl's name was "Ebby" (As in Abby) & Marina was named "Flow". Yeah, when Chuggaaconroy did an LP of Splatoon 2, I learned "Ebb & Flow" were NOT Off The Hook's names, rather "Pearl & Marina". Also happy to say I did win 5 fests. Team Sweet Team W. Chocolate Team Vanilla Team Solo- Frostyfest (2024) Team Past- Grand Festival I chose Team Past because I want to see Splatoon be released on Switch or the Successor as Splatoon DX. I want to give Splatoon a second chance. Also, a lack of Free time would've kept me uninterested in Splatoon on Wii U. I want Splatoon 1 & 2's Splatfests rereun in Splatoon DX so I can play the ones I missed. Plus, Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors. In other words, I enjoyed the Grand Festival, but, it feels like I missed so much in terms of the Splatfest Storyline.
