Love your commentary. And, get it done attitude. Car is looking better all the time. Well done Ed!

Thanks very much. I'm glad you enjoyed. I've made some pretty big leaps on the project lately and it feels pretty good.

Coming along nicely Ed . The driver's side went much better after learning on the other side. A lot of times we just got to do something once to figure it out. Keep up the good work and stay warm👍🏻

Thanks Chris! It's a long haul but it's coming. Pretty mild here today, but supposed to be cold next week. Good time to be in the shop.

Lots of work and effort to finalize your mods for the rear window. Very good video. The respirator is a great safety feature I wore one for years and i am glad i did.

Your friend was incorrect when he told you that 150's had fixed rear windows. The only ones that did so were Businessman's Coupes. They had fixed-in-place rear windows, no back seat and a platform where the seat bottom would normally be. This allowed salesmen to be able to carry samples or products. Any other model would have had windows that roll up or down. I know this since I had a '55 gasser that was originally such a model and I still have the extra piece that secured that flat floor panel, extending to the rear footwell.

And the businessman's coupe was only available in the 150 line.

That's likely what he told me, and I mistook it for all 150s. I was just excited that something had a fixed back glass I could work with. I told him to order it, and the seals. It'll be interesting to make it work. Thanks for watching!

Try switching those outer skin pieces from left side to right side to see if they match better on the inside for your window ledge !

Hi Ed. Long time watcher, first time question. What do you plan to do for an inner door panel?
@SlowCarFix9 ай бұрын
I plan to cobble some sort of interior panel myself. I won't be using a stock interior panel. I will likely have it professionally covered, but the panel will be homemade

Post it up! I would love to see another take on it. Mine is pretty much past the conversion phase at this point and I'll be on to body work. Thanks for watching.

You need some light inside of car when working. Looks dark on the video.

I saw that in editing, trying to do the best I can with what I have. I'll keep it in mind for next time. Thanks.
