FEC said last week that they had to postpone this because of scheduling conflicts. But seems like they started the testing this week instead. Anyone know anything.

Plans start of december are still that service will begin end of 2023.

Yes, they need newer trains. Hopefully with the increased ridership to and from Brightline's station, they can get funding for new trains.

The Tri-Rail trains? Yeah, all trains should have working AC and heating, and they shouldn't be allowed to operate in service.

I lived in S. FL when the train cut the Hess gas truck in half, horrible accident. I was there when the Value Jet nose dived into the everglades as well, another horrible event. I'm so glad I moved my family back to Alabama when I did, not that those affected us personally, but there was always something bad going on...

@@miamiwax5504 I live 20 miles from a town in every direction, have 200+ year old oak trees and a stream that runs through my virgin wooded property. Pretty boring not having to constantly listen to sirens and have hookers knocking on my door at midnight. I drive the same distance to work as I did in Miami Springs (Robinson & Sons shutter co) there it was 2hrs, here 30 minutes. I made a bunch of friends and money, and lived large down there, but when it was time to go, I did.
