CP’s opening argument was so potent he could’ve just won the debate right there in the first two minutes speaking on the dichotomy between a native of the states and someone who isn’t. However hip hop is so global that most ppl around the world don’t know and most likely don’t care about what goes on in our inner cities. Especially how marginalized ppl are being affected. Yet they’re probably dealing with it in their own country to even be concerned with certain plights here. However, if they are dealing with similar situations (because poverty and corruption is everywhere) then Kendrick’s message is a global one. I guess it comes down to what’s more important, having a good time or having something you can feel? 🤔
