This is why I love this game... Its rewarding when you become a bit better. I still suck at extreme tracks, but at the same time getting better. I was stuck at one part in Trials Rising and you just showed me the trick, so thanks. 11:14

Most can’t ride extreme tracks for squat. Progression is what Trials is about. It takes many hours…no shortcuts. All pure nerd glory in the end.

@@DNixon845 one thing I realized as a newb is two things. One: You must know how to bunny hop in one place with ease. two: Learn how to feather the gas.

43 seconds, not bad, not bad at all. Took me, mmm I don't know, around 6 fkn hours! No joke. Literally just finished it now. Subbed to you few days ago after I picked up trials and realised that the game has more depth than I originally thought.

You have such a great sense of humour lol, great video! I've played Trials games in the past, but not for many years. Saw Fusion was in the 'games with gold' section on Xbox and thought why not give it a try. I've been playing for the last couple of days and would say I'm between a hard, maybe bordering on an extreme skill set, but not consistent with it. I watch some of the top guys replays and it's insane how much control they have and what they can do, yourself included. I'm a 'competitive' racer so I can definitely appreciate someone who puts time into a game and becomes super good at it, like I said when I watch the replays my mouths on the floor most of the time like W.T.F lol. Hopefully with time I can be something like that, it's just having patience with this game lol...

Being good at Trials doesn't happen overnight. But when you become good at extremes...it's something you share with your family and they look at you in complete awe.

Wow a gaming youtuber that's kinda funny! That's rare. Tips helped too. Though I wish you went into a little more detail on the tire grab. I just need to find a good level to practice that.

I find pressing the throttle gently on hills you'll get to a point where you can release it enough to slide backwards to the edge of a ramp, and gently throttle to stop. Another thing is let go of the throttle and press only when on surface, little speed boost instead of holding it in the air. But otherwise a lot of it does take precision and practice. I'm good but advanced good, not ninja good.

They should add a handbrake so you can pull the front of your bike up without reversing

Master the neutral position of the rider and brake taps are really good for control. Plus slow and steady wins the race to start out.

@SuperSpatman

You say feathering is good control, but it seems to mess me up more often than it helps. It's much better to learn to hold the throttle on the exact point. Takes a bit to learn, but is a much more stable point to proceed from.
@DNixon845
@DNixon845 7 жыл бұрын
SuperSpatman Feathering and having the throttle halfway down are separate things entirely. I'm assuming you mean without the brake being held? Either way, both will not be as effective in bringing the back end up (increasing upward momentum for the back end on the bike). How many hours do you have logged on Fusion? Just curious as to your experience. Serious business...video game talk here:)
@SuperSpatman

Dick Nixon I suppose whatever works for the player, just always found throttle control more useful than feathering... Which is basically a way to avoid learning throttle control. I've been playing since Trials HD. Only play Extreme or hard these days. I'm not one of those ridiculous ninja players, but I've had some top 100 scores in my time.
@DNixon845
@DNixon845 7 жыл бұрын
I think I misunderstood your initial point. For a steep uphill...for example...working on throttle input rather than tapping? I agree here...Playing since HD too? Haha. We both need help.
@SuperSpatman
@SuperSpatman 7 жыл бұрын
Dick Nixon Yeah I was referring to holding your position or progressing slowly up a steep incline. Definitely put waaay too many hours in over the years. Now it's more of a spare 10 minutes, easy play sort of game.
@SuperSpatman
@SuperSpatman 4 жыл бұрын
@louis mays letting off can definitely help, but tapping or pulsing the throttle, all the way up the incline is a far less stable technique and will result in many failed climbs. I often use consistent throttle, then slowly back it off as you go up; it keeps the pressure on but stops the front lifting.

Oh man this game makes me mad! I can't get passed section 3 of your track, it looks so easy on the video but I can't simply make it. I was so hyped for this game as I have spent hours on trials bike pro back in 2000 but this one is simply too hard:(
@DNixon845
@DNixon845 6 жыл бұрын
How many hours/days have you played the game for? Trials Rising in February should be solid. Better than Fusion to me....also, Trials is one of the hardest games made...when it comes to extreme and ninja builds.

Dick Nixon not much, I'm fairly new, maybe 20h in. I know it is all skill based and this is not something you get in minutes/hours but weeks. You brought this point in the video and I totally agree. Still it makes me mad but it's addicting as hell haha. I'll pass this step one day for sure ;)

Are certain bikes better than others? I seen alot of people using Pit Viper for every track I see
@DNixon845

Woohyun Pit Viper for almost any hard/extreme build. The Roach has a softer suspension and slower acceleration, but has more overall speed. Sometimes the bmx bike is a good alternative for extremes.
