Thanks to many people's prayers and to this vid I've realized that I've been being tempted against following my vocation.. that's all these fears were: temptation; and temptation is always a lie.

Is this for priests? I’m confused, as a lay person.

It is implied for Religious; monks, friars, nuns, and sisters. Nevertheless, Saint Alphonse's work, even if for such an implied audience, has much to offer even a layperson! 'Introduction to the Devout Life', a book written by the same saint, has even more to offer you as a layperson if that is the state Christ wishes you to remain in. It is a classic in the spiritual life, and I certainly recommend it. Pax Christi!

@@Fra.Angelo Um Actually, "Introduction to the Devout Life" was by St. Francis de Sales.

Where am I going after I die? There is only one God who is eternally manifesting himself in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, that we are all sinners. As it is written: There is none righteous, no not one. Romans 3:10 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags Isaiah 64:6 For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 (The word “death” in this verse speaks of spiritual death in hell.) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures 1Cor 15 3:8 In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:14 For by grace ye are saved; through faith and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vein Galatians 2:21 If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior. Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you. You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. the words don’t matter, but remember your prayer doesn’t save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you. The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are saved.

When I was in the Redemptorist college seminary mid 1970s our Math teacher a Felician nun gave Evangelical witness to us seminarians. Being Evangelical in my heart....I supported Sister Jane Mary. Fellow seminarians...sadly not the case. I wonder how many Redemptorists came to realize the Roman's road to salvation? Sister Jane Mary was in her seventies when I was her student.

I knew Fr Gerard Bugge CSsR when I was in the Redemptorist cemetary. He had strong Evangelical sympathies as a seminarian back in the 1960s. He remained a RC priest for years....it must have been difficult to reconcile his Evangelical beliefs with traditional RCC.

@@michaelciccone2194 I know many Catholics that are saved. It’s not about your religion. As you know , it is about trusting in Jesus. I am so glad that you are in the church helping others. After I got saved , I attended the Baptist Church, but often wondered if I should have stayed in the Catholic Church to help others. God bless you. I enjoyed hearing from you.
