Nice tutorial! I love the graphical style in this game. I hope more games take advantage of it. Would love a Chrono Trigger or Xenogears remaster to use this.

It's even possible to provoke the bandit healer (in full health and that is facing geela) then let frederica attack from behind the bandit healer for a x4 kudos points and by letting hughette attack using blinding arrow (low damage) behind frederica you'll have another 4 kudos points. A total of 8 kudos points. Provided the bandit healer is in full health and in fury.

my healer keeps attacking the side people, I have healer on top and fred on bottom since they are the weakest ones, but healer wont attack any of them, so i keep attacking his side, so only get 2 kudos. How do I make it so healer attacks the top or bottom for that back bonus?

Hmm, assuming that you're placing Roland and Seranoa at the sides, I would just make sure a couple things... 1. Are you damaging the healer below half of his HP? He will not heal himself if he is not heavily damaged. Getting him below 33% will make him place a priority on healing. 2. Are the side characters Roland and Seranoa fully healed? The AI might place a priority on trying to attack you instead of healing himself. 3. What difficulty are you playing at? Hard mode likes to attack more than heal, and this shouldn't be a problem if your level is at 5. Lastly, make sure your formation is exactly the same as mine, and let me know if that fixes things!

You use Erador with the Provoke skill to face healer like you do to get him in position. I also found by testing that using Hughette if you position her on the ledge at level 13 every four turns you can attack with her and get four Kudos when healer is at max level. (Attack from safe space) Healer must be facing down the stairs.

Where did you get the information that only the autosave would be used toc arry over to the main game?

I've been using Hughette to get 4 kudos each time, an extra kudo for attacking from a safe distance

I just switched out Roland for her, but I also did it with Roland and had him and Anna switch positions in your strategy. What I like is that Roland can move around to the back in case the healer turns and attacks geela

great video, these items however seem extremly powerful and probably meant to fix a battle someone is stuck at or rather letting you finish every battle with any units you want, since you can also upgrade how many of these you can use in a battle as well. I see it as a "grind option" when stuck.

Totally agree. Quietus cards are incredibly useful. I think they fall under the category of "use me to break the game. Leave me alone if you want."

Are you worried about conviction grinding? It pushed me away from grinding the demo personally.

Thankfully with this method, you could do a tonnnn of grinding in 1 battle, so you won't really gain too much conviction as is. From what we've been researching, conviction seems like it's helping with persuasions during voting. Obviously the game isn't out yet, and so we don't know the full gravity to the Conviction scores yet but time will tell. That said, it's been noted that through Mock Battles Morality is the one parameter in your conviction that goes up. Unsure of Liberty and Utility right now. Last note, although morality gets raised per mock battle, it takes quite a few battles to raise morality substantially. It took me up to 18 battles to raise the morality to one rank above my current morality level at that time.

@@JRPG-Mickey how do you even know what of the 3 convictions levels up? it dont say wich one levels up, it just shows me that box 3 times, so i asume that all 3 get upgrated a bit

People at the Triangle Strategy wiki and myself have been testing rigorously what certain questions give specific values for Liberty, Utility, and Morality. @@JRPG-Mickey just so you know, you can also grind Liberty and Utility, it's just that morality is the easiest to grind right now. If you look at the spreadsheet i've shared with the community (included in the wiki comments) you can look at the Datamined info and see for yourself how to grind those.

everytime we did these training battle "Serenoa Conviction is strenghtened", i wonder if these will effect the route or choices later in the game if we do a lot of these training battles since we don't know which parameter gets increased after each battle

I’m pretty sure after you beat the demo it tells you to load the auto save and make a manual save to import in the full game. Grinding after beating it should not be an issue.

but im sure you dont need to load the auto save to save the game, since the auto save puts you back before the last story talk where you leave the desert or ice place, not only that, how do you even auto save? the game stoped auto saving for me, wont save anymore after those training battles anymore, meaning the only auto save i got is for the time i wanted to see the other choice option, and not my actual game, so i do hope that i dont need to use the auto save to bring it to the full game, other wise i have to play from the start again, wich is too much time wasted on those 2 maps

Oh no its the autosave that is transfered? I think ive finished chap 3 already and was just doing some grinding in prep, welp i guess ill have to load a diff save then

This is a good idea but I’d recommend having Geela at the top and swapping out Frederica with Hughette. There is another point you can gain for attacking from a safe spot. This will make the gain 4 per rotation instead of 3, which adds up.

Do you have any tips for grinding Kudos outside of the demo/first 3 chapters? Or is this still the best mock battle you've found for grinding them?

For mid game, later on there's a mock battle where you can hit more than 4 units at a time. I show case the battle in my "Fast Money" video. I find that you can make 8+ Kudos in 2 turns, then retreat from the battle and do it over again. You'll need to use Seranoa to teleport in the middle of 8 enemies and use the Sweeping Slash ability. Use in tandem on him, and he'll get to do it again. I think that's the fastest way to make kudos off the top of my head. Hope that helps!

am i the only one not having a single care for those cards? for me, i think those cards are more like "i win" botons, at least they feel like that for me, they dont seem like something i will use, so for me, kudos is only used for lore books, and eventualy those promotion items you sould get later in the game if the hint box is true to its words that you can buy in the kudos shop
