Good explanation but you should give the real logic currency exchange rate. For example, 1 USD equates 107 Yen as the approximate fact.

What you can do, however, and what many macro-fund managers do, is to take long-term positions to profit from exchange rate fluctuations.

Seriusly...now wonder u hate math...u got totally wrong..the cross rate should be 0.5euro/ 1 yen....what level ur math are?...the cross rate calculation should be (0.5euro/3 usd) x (3usd/ 1 yen) since u want to cancel out the usd unit...go back to your school...so the rate is 0. 5euro/ 1 yen...not 0.5yen per 1 euro..and this video is 6 years ago...omg

Did you flip it back? If you do you get 0.5¥/€

Mathematically 0.5€/¥ however you have to flip. It back giving you 0.5¥/€
