I have over 800 plug-in instances in Studio One 6, including almost every good drum machine plugin available. Currently I love Atlas 2 the best for its ease of use and performance however I’ve owned Triaz since its infancy of a plugin and I’ve always liked the sound quality that it provides. Being a Kontakt instrument it has never been a go to plugin for me but now it’s going to be e with your latest update I see things like easy drag and drop to audio, revised look, Kontakt not needed and a host of other great improvements that I’m happy to dig into now. Thank you for being a Responsible developer Wave Alchemy and keeping the plugin new and exciting for us long term supporters of your product! I own all of your plugins and have for many many years. Awesome update, great work! I already mentioned this on KVR, but just for reference I'm posting it here also. 1. Maybe if there was a drop down menu beside the randomize pattern button, where we could select different randomize algorithms (like hiphop, electro, totally random etc)? I know it's a bit more work, but would be pretty unique I think? 2. If possible, a synth-engine with different synth options like fm, osc, etc. would be cool, similar to unfiltered audios battalion but even better :D It would make Triaz full-on solution for most needs. 3. This is again, just a thought, but maybe if it's possible to add more experimental FX similar to unfiltered audios battalion, for more glitchy drum loops. Off course it can easily be achieved by running Triaz through a glitch plugin like Infiltrator, but would be cool if possible. Not neccesary, just fun :) Thanks, have a great day!

Yes, possibly some of this could come in an update, specifically we are looking at these kind of potential options already for the Sequencer Randomizer. If we added a full synth engine however, it would most definitely need to be a paid upgrade - that would be a large project and take quite a lot of resources.

@@wave-alchemy personally I would pay for a Synth engine addon. I understand it's a business decision though, depending on how many would want it. Maybe do a poll "would you pay for a Synth engine addon?" I would vote yes of course :) Anyway, triaz is still an awesome tool 😁

I have one request to make to help improve the triaz...with layering samples...sometimes it is really to run into issue like phase cancelation so if its possible to be able to see the layer of waveform so we adjust it while checking the phase will be a game changer

Thanks! If you check your account / downloads page now, you will see a tab under Triaz called 'Version History'. If you click that you can grab the 1.01 plugin installer directly from there without the need to re-download the entire download with samples again. Running the 1.01 installer will immediately update Triaz to 1.01 :)

Really great updates! :) It would be awesome if you could add your own sample libraries by adding existing paths to Triaz instead of physically adding the samples in the Triaz directory. Currently this means all the user samples I want to have in Triaz take up double the space.

I would like 2 features implemented. 1: It would be great to be able to copy and save the sequecer information of one channel strip. So not the entire channel information with the sound included. Just to sequencer information. To be able to copy it to an other channel or save it to your hard drive would be great. 2: It would be great to save the three sounds of one channel strip with the made settings as one preset, without the sequence information. Just being able to copy it to an other channel would also be nice. I have read the manuel, but I might have overlooked something. If anybody knows how to do this, please let me know. Anyway, thumbsup to this great software and update!

great, I can now reduce the the wish list I was writing to send to you :) I highly respect developers that will continuously develop their products. The bypass all FX was really needed, I noticed often that reverbs seemed to be re-enabled after they had been switched off, maybe because of automatically getting switched on when touching something? I'm also really glad you start to add some keyboard commands, I hope the next step will be a simple keyboard interface for entering steps, I get a lot of issues with mouse miss-hitting and overwriting previous edits. Combined with the 'full velocity' step that you've added that will be a great benefit for getting basic patterns up and running. How about simply cursor left/right to move between steps and then up/down for latch/levels, with a modifier key for fine adjustment? Other stuff I noticed. 1) with some modifiers, e.g. start position, the values don't take effect until the mouse is released, that feels very un-natural and makes it difficult to use.. again a keyboard interface might fix this in another way. 2) I'm not a fan of how the library filters are automatically picked based on the existing sample, sometimes it's useful, but more often than not I'm always having to change the filters. I think it would be nicer if it was off by default, but you could just a hit a button to apply the filters based on the existing sample.. either that or once you have entered library and manually changed the filters that should then become permanent until exit. 3) I would maybe like the start position in ms rather than as a %, especially at least as a Cubase user this would then relate to the track delay offset and allow the values to be copied over. 4) we really need to be able to mute modifiers, inorder to hear what they are doing and evaluate changes, e.g. with swing, I want to be able to apply swing, then mute the swing mod on/off and listen to see how it feels with/without, not having to drag it up and down 5) copy/paste sounds from 1 track to another... 6) copy/paste sequence from 1 track to another.. 7) I'd love it when scrolling in the library browser if going to then start/end of a row would naturally go to the previous/next row.. it's a little cumbersome at the moment. Awesome, love Triaz! Two questions/suggestions (feel free to correct me if this is already possible): 1. It would be cool to be able to randomize from imported folders, so that you would have an option to only go through selected folders while randomizing, not the entire library. 2. Is there a way to import midi into Triaz sequencer? If not, that would be another great addition.

Hey, I'm really enjoying the latest update and all of its new features. It would be fantastic to use Revolution with the 96kHz samples you've provided. Additionally, it would be particularly impressive if you could make Triaz modular, similar to what you've done with the Kontakt version of Revolution. With NKS support, you could then integrate Maschine and Triaz modules to create the ultimate drum machine with a ready-to-use controller. I'm confident that this could also be implemented with Push, allowing each pad to host modules and providing the ability to tweak the settings of each drum. This enhancement would truly elevate the experience to the next level. Also NI + Ableton seems like large market you could explore ;) cheers

the updates are amazing. Really nice! I would like to see some functionality that randomly combines instruments from the library into a rhythm pattern. Maybe with extra randomizer functionality? That way, surprisingly new combinations can be found.

dunno if mentioned somewhere, but also a requested feature from some user, double click to activate pattern preset. I think in previous version you needed to select and then click load preset. First time ill say this bout a program I use, but you guys really use user input to enhance your product. I have had two feature request that are also were implemented in newer versions. dang !

A quick question: have you fixed the disappearance of the attack for the first sound in the loop, especially audible on the kick, during (save as loop(Ableton), 2pass render (Reaper) rendering? And, hoping for the next updates, I will really look forward to the rendering, as in XO: when saving, their algorithm works, like in Ableton (save as loop), and then everything sounds glued together, pleasantly, without sudden cuts in the sound at the end. Sorry for mentioning XO, I just helped them a long time ago) Thanks again!

Once Revolution goes stand-alone, will the current license owners of the kontakt version get an upgrade deal or we will need to repurchase?

If you own Revolution Kontakt version, there will be a special discounted cross-grade price to upgrade to the forthcoming native version. The reason for a cross-grade fee is that the new version of Revolution will be very different to the old version (tons more features, and more like Triaz in that respect), and also feature over 40 drum machines models instead of 14 like the current version. Even those 14 drum machines have been redone from scratch for the new version :)

Hi! There are only two reasons why this would not work, as far as we are aware: 1. If you are accidentally looking in the preset browser rather than sound browser. 2. If you have not clicked the 'refresh' icon on the sound browser page next to search bar after adding your samples. You must click that to refresh it. I hope this helps :)

@@wave-alchemy the problem is the only way to use your own library is to use the individual sound browser which is not optimal at all I've been in this for 25 years. You can't access your own libraries from the main browser. So instead of being able to randomize from one place for all sounds I have to set each individual sound to my library bc that's the only way to see my library. I can save it as a template but it just doesn't seem to work well that way.

In Atlas and XO i can just point to my library and get going. Not possible with Triaz and I've been on every forum wondering if I'm just crazy. Nope that's where I learned the method I mentioned before. I'm on version 1.1.1

@@Feerlyss I'm not sure exactly what you mean here, but when you add a library of sounds to Triaz they show up exactly like the Factory Content within the 'Sound Browser', under the User Samples section. They work exactly the same as the Factory content and usie the exact same main browser (there is no different browser for user / factory samples), meaning you can load 3 sounds into any channel, and then use randomize in various ways to randomize through your folders etc. It's identical to the factory library and you can even add your user samples to the factory library folder if you really wanted to and have them show up there. Are you sure you aren't confusing this with the preset browser? The preset browser only loads pre-built presets that contain pre-saved sounds and patterns. When you save a preset wit user samples, those presets will show there too. But the Sound browser for loading sounds is identical for both factory and user samples. Other ways to import sounds would be using the folder icon on any layer to load via your OS browser, and randomization still works using that method too, or dragging and dropping sounds onto mixer channels.

hey, so when i right click on the little ball in the x/y motion grid, it give sme an option to assign automation to 1 of 64 automation slots. What is this for? I cant find any mention of automation in the manual and havent seen it in any of the videos. I know you can assign motion on the grid, but the automation I am not grasping. Thanks!

Hi! You can right-click most controls within Triaz and add them to an automation slot. This is separate from adding them to a Motion Assignment. Adding controls to an automation slot simply means those controls will now show up in your DAW host automation list for Triaz, meaning you can automate them in your DAW. I hope this helps :)

well, you managed to implement double click in the kit browser in a not so functional way. when i double clicked the selected kit, i was expecting to stay in the browser, so i could double click and try another kit. instead, when i double click a kit a in the browser, triaz exits the browser.

The way we've implemented actually makes most sense. If you want to preview a kit, just hit the play / preview icon on any preset (to the left of each preset) and use the up / down arrows on your keyboard and you can stay in the browser and listen to all the presets very quickly without ever leaving, then when you choose one you want to edit, double click it :) Using Preview is essentially exactly the same as loading them.

are there any changes to the content? Just wondering why the update needs a complete download 3.4 GB and it is taking 20 mins here, which is slow from the server end. Btw, there are no mentions of how to update on the website nor was I sent an email... so I'm just presuming re-installing is the correct method and that existing data will not be disturbed?

We can only (legally) send emails to those who are subscribed to our mailing list. We sent out an email to a few thousand Triaz users who are, and to confirm, you can download the update without the need to re-download the large content download again. Here is how: Simply log in to your Wave Alchemy account and head over to the ‘Downloads’ section. Under your Triaz download you will now see a new tab named ‘Version History’. Click that tab and it will reveal the 1.01 Update Installer. Download that installer, extract and install it, and you are ready to rock. This is only a 50mb file or so and takes 30 secs to update :)

With most companies this is a bad idea because they spam continuously.. but something like an update notification could be handled seperately for paid users? Thanks again

just tried the demo, after 2 minutes i knew it wasnt for me... without a browser like the Live or FL browser i cant use the Plugin. I want to be able to browse my own stuff with the arrow keys to preview and navigate just like in Live/FL so thats why the arrow keys... but i really like the UI ✌

You can absolutely do this in several ways already within Triaz, either by browsing through folders using the folder icon on the Sound Browser navigation header, or dragging in thousands of samples / or folders into Triaz and using the up/down arrows in the Sound Browser to achieve the exact same thing We also have lots of other features coming to these areas in the future, such as smart / AI based auto tagging / bulk sample sorting, and much more. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe in the future, but our main aim currently is to focus on development, refining and new features. In your account page on our website, under the Triaz download there is a tab called 'Version History'. Within this you can just download the small 50mb update installer which only takes less than 30 seconds to run and update - without the need to redownload all the samples and content :)

@@ELLIOT8209 You can link in files or folders from various locations directly to the Sound Browser already if you use symbolic linking (which is not too hard to set up). Otherwise you can use user samples already exactly as Nerve works (browsing folders on computer and randomizing, cycling between them), or by drag and dropping them, or by adding / copying sounds to the Triaz folder. There are 3 ways of using user samples currently :)
