Take the base Banana bread recipe and instead of walnuts, add either chocolate chips or even better, little chunks of firm banana! Keeps it super moist and the banana bits soften while baking. Sprinkle a little brown sugar on top too for a nice sweet crunchy crust. Mmmm delicious! 😀🍌🍞

BBC's Historic Farm series is another soothing, peaceful, and educational place on KZbin. In it, a team of very likeable historians operate a British farm for a full calendar year, while wearing period clothing, using only period equipment, and prepping & eating period food. Tudor, Victorian, War World II, and more -- and unlike many "challenge" series, there's no whining or gagging from these folks; they're all in with pluck and enthusiasm from start to finish! I'll bet you'd love it. :) I'm so glad to see that Tribal People Try got their channel problem sorted out and are back on the air!

@@rebeccataylor8981 I think I've seen some of those, or something similar. Really enjoy the period pieces. Not BBC but also British, I also like the Timeline series, where they have 3 days to excavate a site archaeologically to find clues to that location's past. (Often, it's in a farmer's field, or someone's back yard.) I also enjoy Townsends, which focusses on America in the 17th century.

@@patriciamorgan6545 Sorry it's taken me so long to get here and reply! And YES! I love Timeline, Townsends, Lucy Worsley...I think my absolute favorite is Supersizers Go / Supersizers Eat: Giles and Sue, a restaurant critic and a radio performer, team up to live for a week in a similar fashion to the Historic Farm crew, the difference being that these two are geniuses at hilarious comments, physical comedy, and funny facial expressions. They hit just about every period in British history from Roman occupation to the 1980s, and your sides will hurt from laughing even as you're learning actual food and cultural history! Most of their episodes are on KZbin; they're so much fun.

They would probably really love banana cake w/frosting, especially Chaudhary😀 Many recipes I see use a cream cheese frosting. I've always made a banana birthday cake for my children since they were little, but just make regular frosting. In the recipe we use, right after taking the cake out of the oven, you put it straight into the freezer for about 45 mins. Then you finish letting it cool on the counter before you frost it. Putting it in the freezer helps to keep the cake really soft & moist. It's always been our favorite recipe & my children absolutely love it🥰

Tahir knows about the health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids. Nice! You need a good balance ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids for a healthy body. And to achieve that is to look for fatty seafood like wildcaught salmon/sardine, some nuts/seeds, and grass-fed/pasture-raised animal byproducts (butter/egg). Fish oil supplements, coconut/avocado oil also works, but aim for a reputable one where the oil is cold pressed. I love nutty flavors with my coffee, and it comes no surprise that I also love banana nut pastries to go with my coffee, haha. Glad to know they enjoyed it, and who wouldn't enjoy it when it's made with really riped banana fruit and walnut which is toasted in the oven (especially not made with artificial flavored chemicals imitation)?

I wish I knew the dynamics of this show... meaning how and where do they produce this. Is there a building with a kitchen, is it a mobile unit that goes to their village? The chef(s) are obviously fantastic as they create so many wonderful and authentic dishes for them to try! Are there multiple chefs from the countries of the food's origin or just some super talented people with mad skills? Even things like KFC or other franchised foods are given, so are they actually from those places or just recreations? Love this series and have been watching for a long time!

After watching now for a couple of years, my impression is that these are produced in the city, where you would have available kitchens (probably even with a western-type oven), franchises, and many international foods. The tribal reactors come in from the surrounding country areas, where they maintain a more traditional village life.
