Fresh food is so much better. So happy that you are learning all these new foods. It must be a challenge! Everyone seems to deeply appreciate your efforts. I love Fiza's description of being angry on the outside! Fayaz has really mastered the phrase, "thank you." Such excellent pronunciation.

For another "chicken" dish, you might try "Chicken Curry Casserole," which is a baked pasta dish using pasta, condensed cream soup [cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, etc.], milk/cream, cheese, mixed vegetables, herbs and spices, cooked chicken meat, and yellow curry powder mixed in. You can add extra milk and dry pasta (the pasta cooks in the pot while baking) or less milk along with separately pre-cooked pasta. I quite enjoy making / eating it. Another option is "tuna casserole," where the chicken and curry powder is switched out for several drained cans of canned tuna fish. [Curry powder isn't typically used with tuna casserole; just pasta, condensed cream soup, cheese, milk/cream, mixed vegetables, herbs & spices, pimientos, maybe some canned mushrooms, etc.]

You're welcome, welcome, welcome! ^_^ Fried chicken is delicious! Probably not the healthiest thing ever on account of being deep fat fried. But tasty nonetheless! I wouldn't say it's "fast food" necessarily. Though, we certainly have "fast food" versions of it ("Kentucky Fried Chicken" or "KFC" being the popular restaurant brand in the USA). "Fast food," per se, is generally restaurant food where the food is prepared in large batches, quickly, and inexpensively, and often taken "to-go." So, we have burger chains (McDonald's, Burger King), taco chains (Taco Bell, Del Taco), Chinese food (Panda Express), fried chicken ["KFC," Chick-Fil-A, Popeye's] chains that are all "fast food." IE, they're all small restaurants with many locations around the country, that quickly prepare food en mass in large quantities and then sell it as inexpensive meals for folks to pick up and go, or eat quickly and then go.

I really appreciate your efforts to genuinely learn the recipe and origin of all the foods. Well done and I’m glad they like it! Me personally, I love to eat chicken with either BBQ sauce or hot sauce.

KFC uses the chicken crumblings from the cooking of them to make their gravy for mashed as well as a slightly different assortment of herbs and spices for it

There are many different food businesses that specialize in fried chicken in the USA, KFC, Popeye's, and Chester's, are just a few. All taste good and slightly different due to the seasonings they put in the breading, before they cook it. I would never eat fried chicken with catsup! HA HA, but that is a kids thing, however, I do like fried chicken with white gravy. The gravy is made with oil and flour to make what is called a rouix, then you add some of the crispy bits of the fried chicken and milk and cook until it thickens. Yum! It is the same gravy style that I eat with biscuits! Other types of food with chicken??? Almost too many to try to list....but chicken and biscuit for breakfast, sliced chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and mayonaisse, bbq chicken, and fried chicken cut up on a large salad. Mostly for fried chicken, we prefer larger pieces so we take the cleaned bird, cut off the legs, wings, thighs, and then take the carcass and split it into quarters, so we have two pieces of the back, and two pieces (both halves of the breast. I prefer the legs, thighs and wings as the dark meat has more flavor than the white meat of the breast pieces.

"Fried chicken," no probably not. Ketchup isn't usually used with whole fried bone-in chicken. "Chicken fingers," or "chicken nuggets," yes... Ketchup is a tasty dipping sauce! But so are other things like BBQ sauce, sweet & sour, ranch, Thai chili, honey, etc.

I saw KFC in the intro picture and in my mind I was like, "Now, ok, on the 2 newer, younger participants, Fayaz and Fiza I've not seen them that I RECALL, try KFC,, but I KNOW my tailor friend, Mr. Aziz? (I had a computer crash and have yet to redo my files where I keep track of these things, and my memory used to be pretty decent, but not as much now.) But I DO recall he is a tailor by trade. AND I recall hi trying KFC. So real homemade fried chicken, that's another thing. Similar, but definitely worth a 'first time' designation. :)

I have lived in Texas my whole life. I have never seen anyone ever eat fried chicken with ketchup. That's not a thing here in the United States. Hot sauce even honey. But never ketchup.

Southern Fried Chicken is not fast food. It takes about 20 minutes to cook.
@Toastybees3 ай бұрын
My brother fast food is not about how quickly it cooks, but how quickly it is served. Fried chicken can be cooked ahead of time and holds fairly well.
@jasminegilchrist9593 ай бұрын
@Toastybees I am a female, and you can't go to a Southern Restaurant and order already made food. So because it takes about 20 minutes to make, it will take about 25 minutes to serve unless deep fried.
