that's Berlin my friend, in most techno clubs here filming on the phone is forbidden they even give you a sticker at the entrance to put over your camera so people have learnd to enjoy the moment and the music instead of teaking a video they will never watch again because it does not reflect the emotions of that moment

And, I think you have to concede that DJs do bring a breadth of music that is difficult for even a cover band to reproduce faithfully, let alone a one man band) There is also a limitation to how much variation and style of change-ups one person can do with a looper.
