I'm not a Nepalese neither do I know the language. I spent two days discovering and exploring Tribal Rain and man oh man what an absolute legend these people are! I learnt Rahul Rai is dead and even though it was in 2018, I felt heartbroken. He was just 27, the famous 27 club. What a voice what a legend. I really can't explain what is this about Tribal Rain but I am glad I came across this band. Lots of love and respect from Kolkata.

To all those who don't know the legendary late Rahul Rai/frontman of this band. He was a very good vocalist in a dead metal(which was a popular gener at that time in Sikkim) and the one i suggest this band namely 'Dream Diabolic' before he came up with his acoustic band named 'Tribal Rain'. He is widely known nowadays but sadly, he was not that famous while he was alive. Rumours has it's two main reasons for the cause of his death (suicide actually). But I don't want to explain that personal info here. The tragedy took place on 14th of February, where he hung himself at the kitchen door beam of his home. He also had his concert that day as a Valentine's special. It is really sad to loose our legend this way. Yet, the people didn't value him and his art that he used to create so passionately. He was only known much after those incident. It's so heart breaking for me that he had to sacrifice his life inspite of being famous. It is very hard to accept this but, while he was still alive, people used to criticize him by saying negetive things like 'why are his songs all so tragic?'. Things like 'he is nothing more then a broken hearted and you should not listen to his songs you will only fall into depression'. But who knew that the one who gave up everything for making the song success was struggling harsh and was into depression. His songs were the only gem he had and still he choose to share it with us. I highly respect his hardwork and dedication. The legendary artist late 'Rahul Rai'.
