I am from Pakistan as well and quite shocked to see that there are people in my country who don't get to enjoy these things which are so regular to me and others.. that so surprising and heartwarming to see them enjoying it wholeheartedly. As everything is available to us living in big city like any other place in this world yet tribal people like them don't get to enjoy these little things that are so minor to us that we dont pay attention and be thankful

it is a similar situation in the USA, we have enormous cities where every person can find any item. But we also have areas in the mountains, in the south, and extremely rural people, who do not have access or knowledge of many things. Some cannot even get internet signal. A lot of the world I think believe every American person is very advanced or has everything access to them, but this is not the case even here.

I feel so spoiled when I watch this, I can buy Magnum whenever I want (even dairy free options now, luckily for my lactose intolerance 😉). But these ladies had never even seen Icecream packaged like this! They did make my smile and appreciate my life more 😊

If you can get Fairlife or Lactaid products they are all lactose free. Otherwise I have to take Lactaid tabs. And I love dairy... just not it does to me 😑

I appreciate the picture you provide when each woman discusses what is similar in their region. I have been eating at a Pakistani restaurant here in the US... it helps me learn the food names....btw... Pakistani rice dishes are the best in the world!! 😋

In America we also have Gola. Ours is a cup of ice crushed until 3mm size +/-, then the flavored sweet syrup is poured over it. We call ours a "Snow Cone", or if you add a little more liquid so that you can (barely) suck it thru a straw, it's called a "Slushy".

And in Hawaii.. they put a scoop of French vanilla ice cream in the bottom of the cone THEN .. make the snow cone ! NOTHING BEATS A CONE MADE THAT WAY !! They also have a version you can ask for that ALSO PUTS RED BEANS OVER THE ICE CREAM THEN THE SHAVED ICE . I never like it. that way. But, alot of people do .

In smaller places in the USA such as towns we also have an ice cream seller who alerts us to when he arrives with a specific sound. If we hear the sound we know the seller is coming down the street and people go out and line up to buy ice cream at his or her cart, or vehicle.

Before I was diagnosed with diabetes my favourite ice cream was the magnum white chocolate ice cream bar.....that's the best ice cream in the world..... seeing the tribal women enjoying their magnums is fun to watch. ..

We have Gola as well but we cal it Shaved Ice, and many other names, where they pour the flavour colour over top of little ice bits. 😋
