as a defensive linemen myself a lot of coaches teach you to watch for a screen which is exactly what the QB was doing he kept backing up to try and get the D-line to follow and possibly throw it to the RB maybe im only in 8th grade

Westfield defense lost that game for them they gave up

Nah, the defense held them to 14 at half. Westfield settled for 3 fg's and failed to score on that last play of the 1st half. Eventually Desoto's offense was going to take off. Westfield QB holds the ball too long and they had turnovers and a lot of 3 and outs. The defense kept it close for a while. Gotta score TD's not Fg's!

@@tylerharris1163 Yeah, by one measly touchdown. That was earlier in the season though and the Mustangs weren't properly tuned up like they were later on. I was actually surprised that Westfield even lost to a shit team like DeSoto, I was also expecting them to face North Shore in the championship game.
