The biggest issue I’ve had with BTS is trying to figure out how all the songs can sound different fresh and be so good with meaningful lyrics. How??? Like all 7 of them are just so so good!

Fun Fact: Max that featured on Burn It, Yoongi actually featured on one of his songs called Blueberry Eyes. There is a music video, but unfortunately Yoongi couldn't be on it because of the pandemic but he is the cat. Also, the female is Max's wife. Max and Yoongi became close friends and Max brought Yoongi to one of his first professional basketball games. I almost forgot to mention that Max help compose their song Yet to Come.

What I love about d-2 is how similar and totally different it is from agustd. Both born out of anger but showcased differently. I felt like agust d was pure anger but as agustd matured he learnt to channel the anger and created a mixtape where he aggressively called out the world and industry with no room for misinterpretation

One thing I love about honsool is that it perfectly auditorily replicates the sensation of drunkenness, not with the high of it but the depression and the nausea one feels as they use alcohol to forget about problems. The song makes clear the distinction between being able to evoke emotions and making someone feel good when it comes to listening. I once read that this song was produced to make you really feel the unpleasantness of alcohol, and it makes me think that yoongi really is an amazing producer through and through.

D-2 is yet another masterpiece, no surprise. But the depth and range of human feelings here is staggering. The beautiful meditative quality of Set Me Free is so mesmerizing to me in spite of the complex feelings it brings. But the absolute gut punches of Hansool and esp Dear My Friend.. there’s no escaping that pain he’s painting so clearly. Yoongi makes you FEEL his messages. Your appreciation of this mixtape, what a joy 💜

I cannot wait to see what he does for d-day. this album already felt like such a shift from agust d (the first mixtape) because of the maturity he showcases. he mentioned in several interviews recently how he felt so much anger towards the unfairness of the world towards him, and he says now he's reached a state of forgiveness. d-2 seemed to show the beginnings of that change, as you'll see the anger he projects towards the world is somewhat mellowed by the apathy and jaded-ness he feels towards his own internal conflicts. I'm so excited to see what he brings to the table, and I can't wait for pt 3 of ur reaction, as well as ur journey into SUGA's discography. it is truly a treat and personally, his solo releases have always been high up on my list of bts solos! his music is just right up my alley! thank u for ur hard work as always!!

These albums... and just reliving his DDay Tour. OMG. He sang Strange with RM on one of the final days and he sang Burn It on stage with JK on one of the days. None of us expected any of that. His Tour was such perfection. And then Last Day when Yoongi let it all out emotionally on stage in front of Army, his parents, his members. Man... hearing this album again like this through your journey the first time through and knowing what is to come. Actually in tears with this one. Love to see how much you are enjoying the flows, the lyrics, everything. I'm sure it has been said plenty in your comments... but fr BTS finds you when you need them. It's crazy.

Strange is such an intellectual favorite mine because RM and AgustD together is one hell of a spectacular mindfuck. Theyre like 2 sides of the same coin, that are inherently different but together just completes the other. And D-2's production is just sooo good that sometimes I just get lost in the beats in a whole other tangent. Its an album that gives you infinte more pleasure as it sits and matures with time, even when it started out as a masterpiece.
