Agreed! It is hilarious. She is a hot mess in the kitchen, but she tries...I feel bad for her son since he is the taste tester...lol

You do not have to be a rocket surgeon to understand, that you can not get any colours from hours and hours of boiling something. Keep in mind: Jamies fortune is over 200 millions of English pounds.

You're missing out on a lot of Asian cuisine it seems lol, we need Tribe members near you to take you around and introduce you to some good asian food. You can start a new series of you just trying new food.

Sometimes I watch these reactions to uncle Roger and I think "man, I wish I could invite loui round for dinner." My wife makes so many asian dishes and they're all of such a good quality. Maybe you can get some US tribe members to recommend good asian restaurants where you live? There's gotta be some good japanese/korean/thai/vietnamese/etc in the area

when making homemade pho, we usually let the broth simmer for 10+ hours overnight. it is definitely worth it, it tastes so so good!

Um yes we eat the eyes, don't get fooled by how it looks it's incredibly tasty especially if the fish is fried. I remember as a kid i always eat the eyes first before anything 😂... Idk for other countries outside asia, but here (specifically in the Philippines), if we eat fish, we make sure to eat it all up (meat) from head to caudal peduncle.

Actually tofus is very watery(?). We have tofu dish cooked deep fried and served with traditional/special sauce. If you leave the dish for 30 minutes, the water from inside the tofu would start to pour out (even after you deep fried it). So tofu plus water on fried rice would make it very watery(?).

@@navamyg Yeah. I've had both raw and fried. Definitely prefer the texture of the fried but maybe I just can't taste the soybean flavor. I've never gotten flavor from it unless it's been added to something.

When i booked a tables I asked if there were vegan dishes and they said yes...... and there was absolute zero anything vegan when we went there. Not even salad or even bread. You can imagine how abset i was. Never went back again.

idk I'm Lao and a few months ago Uncle Roger said in a video that "Lao and Cambodian food is a shit version of Thai food" which pissed off the whole lao community cause a lot of Thai food esp the most popular dishes come from Isaan people (ethnically Lao) who went over to Thailand! his comedy is funny when he's making fun of people messing up Asian food but it left a bad taste in my mouth for him to be pitting Asian people against each other in the name of comedy or for views...when he could instead be promoting Asian culture as a whole. but at the end of the day, he isn't a chef by any means, and Gordon Ramsey said last year that Laos is his TOP food destination in the world (alongside Vietnam and Spain) so who's really winning LOL
@jaden63129 ай бұрын
It's a roast or a joke. Watch his Laos video if you haven't already. The character talks crap about everything. That's the roasting humor so don't take it to heart.
