Bringing basic services to such communities such as proper road networks with urban planning involving Water PNG, PNG Power, and Telecommunications, these people will become innovative and productive thus contributing to a better community, district and PNG as a whole. Good job Tania for highlighting these problems in POM and nationwide.

I love these videos that you're doing. A very important insight to what people are facing daily. Hopefully the people have voted leaders to make the right changes

Since independence we have been electing men into the Parliament and look where we are today. Basic services like water supply not reaching everyone eventhough we're living in the Capital city of PNG. We NEED change and that change will happen if we change our perspective of how we see Leadership. For far too long men have dominated in politics and we're still stagnant, we're not progressing. Why not we give our mothers a chance? Mothers are the keepers of the house, when they are in the house, our houses are in order, simple. I fully support you Tania Bale.

We need leaders who will depend on God. Because the people who support, often cause the leader to be ineffective, because of their selfish demands to the elected person. No matter male or female.

Wow, what a struggle for humanitarian basic needs. And yet it’s a close vicinity to the city. Bore water 💦 can be good and bad. It needs to be boiled for human consumption or just used for garden 🪴 maintenance or maybe other areas. I suggest proper fixed pipe lines, but than we can only hope that becomes a reality when someone listens. Heartfelt sorrow to our citizens, hopefully things turn out for the best🙏

We hope to see tangible developments in our settlements once we elect a good leader. A leader who is fair in service delivery. Why not elect a woman? A woman knows our daily struggles better than a man.

Tania Bale: Let's put a bore pump. Get the families to put some deposits for a proper water service for the community. Hopefully have a better sewer and sewerage system for healthy practice in the community. Get all Morobeans and other interested professionals in Port Moresby NCD, come on board.

I guess settlements in our beautiful country is the result of negligence by the government of the day. Because they failed to provide basic necessities for life, we end up creating unplanned settlements. I believe vagrancy act will manage this problems faced in settlements.

This is already a trend how we'll end up living in future in modern PNG when authorities especially the Government turn up a blind eye with unsurveyed unplanned settlements cropping up in all urban towns and so-called cities across PNG. Lands Dept should have initially surveyed the land, and then converted to allotments with utilities like electricity, drainage water and sewerage system installed together with sealed streets into the settlement areas - just like the suburbs of Hohola, Tokarara, Gordons etc..when will NCDC convert settlements into more organized suburbs?? Pls give priority to these area next 10years.

Hello Tania, it's best to send the ones leaving and doing nothing and begging for Govt service to their home provinces. You are not fit to introduce the Vagrancy Act in your policys!!
