@@allisonserenafaithe80 Because it's obvious it's written by a teen with very limited knowledge that really thinks about historical nations and peoples within a lense of "the goodies" and "the baddies". The helvetii were attempting to migrate to gaul through roman lands in the first place, and the romans weren't keen on allowing it, because years prior a similar event happened where roman cisalpine gaul was utterly pillaged and devastated by a migrating group of germanics, thus they blocked the helvetii from passing through cisalpine gaul. What happened next is that the Helvetti instead attempted to migrate through the territory of a roman allied tribe, which were also absolutely not keen to let the Helvetti pass through their territory because of similar reasons(pillage looting murder), and which sent a letter to Rome for assistance against invasion. Of course Ceaser had territorial ambitions for all of Gaul and more, and the letter was used as a reason/excuse to destroy a troublesome neighbour, but the roman allies had a treaty of mutual assistance with the romans in the first place, which means in this particular instance you can hardly call it ceasar over-extending his authority, or even being "evil" at all. In the end it's all about resources.

Thanks for listening. There's a bunch of music production software out there, I personally use Studio One for my DAW and most of the instruments in this track are from various vsts that I thought fit well for the era.

There's loads of tutorials on getting start right here on KZbin as well as other courses. I'd say the best starting point is to pick a DAW and learn about midi orchestration, just start composing and playing around in it and you'll eventually start making some really cool sounding stuff!
