Sorry to tell you this.. If I were to choose between the two greatest festivals (SINULOG & DINAGYANG) I would rather choose Sinulog. Why? Because they do maintained the Cultural dance steps. Sinulog has a lot more festivities rather than Dinagyang. As I can see that Dinagyang has a few (10)contingents unlike Sinulog they do have more contingents more than 50 participants or more, 80 floats and 100 more or less giants where foreigners are eager to watched these big events. And now I can differentiate that Sinulog is far more popular than Dinagyang.

Actually were not talking about the votes! It's about the Festivities between the two Festivals.. As you can see they were dancing & performing along the streets unlike Sinulog they do have there own stage! Actually here in London Sinulog were on-air lived in our country that's why I do differentiate that Sinulog were far more better than Dinagyang. And OH! There's more, I already watched them both personally here in your country(Philippines) Together with my dad. But for me! It's just only my thoughts but then again I am proud because my father is Filipino (Elonggo)! Peace every one =) but then again I would rather choose Sinulog!

I do expect a lot of this tribe "Tribu Panay-anon" but I was totally upset watching the performance of this tribe, are they aware that the concept of the tribal dance it should be liked putting a black paint on the body & faced? And also the way they wear there costumes it wasn't represents liked national tribes, It's like they dancing like Pop Jazz Competition! If I were the Organization I will not let ruined the reputation where the Dinagyang known for it's cultural dance step...

sinulog? wow? asan kayo sa aliwan nanalo ba kayo......think b4 you speak....culture? anu ba ang nalalaman mo sa kultura nang ilonggo?huh? before po kayo mag judge nang culture namin balikan mo muna yung culture nyo at kung anong meron kami sa iloilo WORLD CLASS NAMAN KAMI.e kung the yang mga sinulog nayan (SINUNOG NANA NAMUN SA ALIWAN) e d sana nanalo kayo sa ALIWAN ...You can see black impersonators of ati every dinagyang but then it spreads the culture from past to present and to the other generations kombaga CONCEPT lang po yong nag bago but still you can see ati tribes parin wag kang judgemental kasi ilang bisis na ako nakapanuod nang sinulog nyo and i do respect kahit boring kayo pinatay si magellan nyo dahil hambog ang mga sibwano yodipota nyo maka hisa kamo sa dinagyan daw baskog gid kamo.....randy agustin....mango ni guro ang gago ya e vip ko ni sa dinagyang para mabal an ya...
