Agreed. I mean, was she annoying at some point? Yes. So did Meredith. So did Alex. So did Izzie (a lot in my opinion, but people seem to worship her). So did Derek and so many import characters. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) was toxic and very annoying at some point. But people seem to forget that cause they have their favourites. I have mine too, and April wasn't one of them, but I am really thankful for her time in the show.

Cristina won't come. Maybe for a series finale, but Sandra Oh has moved past it. Katherine Heigl (Izzie) won't either. Shonda dislikes her and even though Shonda is no longer the show runner, it is her show and she's made her feelings on Heigl quite clear. As for Sara (Callie) a possibility for guest star, but I have feeling she left with some negative feelings towards Grey's (not sure where it's directed, but not towards the cast. At least not all the cast). As for Sarah Drew, she was devastated when she was fired/let go and was interviewed later and said no, at least she at that moment she didn't want to go back. That it can change, but not right now.

I love her so much and I have from the start. People don’t get it. What it feels like to be constantly undervalued and unsure of yourself the way she was. To have people call you annoying and insufferable just for being you. I love April and how Grey’s gave her power and grace and tragedy and love and flaws and fears and strength. I'm happy to see that others in the comments appreciate April as a character. Normally I hear nothing but hate! Her character stuck out to me more than the others because of how she changed. However, I do not believe that her and Jackson were meant to be together. They were not each other's ideal partner, by any means, but that made her story (the marriage and divorce) even more interesting.
