I LOVE history, and this is 100% Awesome COGIC history! And the music that was chosen, was a masterful selection! This is so inspiring. I’ve looked at it several times, and it blesses me to press towards the high calling in Christ, and to represent COGIC well, cause people love to blame ALL their problems on the church, especially those who had to attend as kids! 🙏🏽

Some, not all! I’m still growing, but my life before the Lord is much more victorious than when I first got Saved 40+ years. I was a teenager and I feel like I’m more in love with Jesus than ever before. I’m not there yet, but I’m pressing towards the mark….. And I believe God is moving in a great way, all around the world!

The pictures are beautiful, I do see a lot of genuine love & integrity from the Bishops. My prayer is that we the body of Christ Jesus stay strong in the power of our God's strength & seek Him in all things. Walking in faith is our part grace is God's part given to us. Let the intercessory prayers continue in the authority He has given us, in anointed power, love, boldness, trusting Him in the name of our Jesus. God will lead us, listen to Him. Be of a good ❤ Heart and be strengthen by the renewing daily of your mind.

Now, that sounds more like the Word of the Lord. Because people just look back, but walk away sad. I believe our latter stage should be better than our former stage, according to Jeremiah 29:11. A lot of people look back and say, oh the good ole days, but they fail to press towards the mark of the high calling…! Yes, we look back and are reminded to contend for the Faith that was once delivered to the Saints! But not to grieve comparing things to the 1907 to the early 60s, when Bishop Mason went to heaven! I’m sure the disciples had similar feelings, when Jesus was taken up in the clouds. We just have to press, pray, and praise continuously!🙏🏽💯

I want to encourage somebody reading this as I have been led and am encourage. Our founding father of the Church of God in Christ (Bishop C.H. Mason Sr.) walked in integrity towards others in love with God's will. He underwent much persecution but God was his strength, deliverer and his praise was to God. His walk and prayers showed that God was his friend. His life has encouraged me but to focus on one was how much God's love & brotherly/sisterly kindness was shown thru his life. He could see strongly the spirits operating behind the surface but God's will for his life and deliverance kept him going. He obeyed God with "yes Lord" He had a powerful prayer life. To encourage others walk in your calling & anointing in the character of Christ Jesus to God's glory. Stay connected to God in prayer, worship, praise & obedience. Meditate on Psalms 91.

So conflicting you are sir. I am truly conflicted when it comes to YOU NOT your father. I AM not COGIC. I grew up with in it. I now live in South East Asia. But you want to give praise to your FATHER (AND I THINK YOU SHOULD) and yet I was DISTURBED at the video I just watched of you and Earl Carter. Now, I AM NO FAN OF CARTER'S TYPE IN A MILLION YEARS! As a matter of fact because I an not in the loop I was just wondering what happened to him because I heard he had been stopped by the courts concerning BISHOP BLAKE. The first video that popped up was yours and the only reason I clicked is because of the GREELEAF TITLE. Another drama although a bit intriguing is a style of church drama I dread and have LONG LEFT IN THE PAST. I left a comment there maybe not to coherent because I was on a train when typing it out. No other SON would do what you did on that show or I should say what YOU ALLOW CARTER TO DO. HE SPOKE OF YOUR FATHER LIKE A DAMN DOG! And although you tried to come in here and there and defend YOU were drowned out because he had a clear agenda. He didn't give a DAMN about the "GOOD" your Father did. No matter how wrong PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP IS WHO HOW MANY WOMEN PARTS HE MAY GRABBED YOU WILL NEVER HEAR HIS KIDS SAY ANYTHING IN PUBLIC ABOUT HIM! You won't hear it from THE NIXON CHILDREN, THE REAGAN'S CHILDREN NOT EVEN. But us? Whether in fiction GREENLEAF/EMPIRE or in real life (PATTERSON) we tear down legacies and then here you are trying to BUILD IT. YOU SPEAK WITH FORK TONGUE! When I clicked on this I did not even know it was your video!The truth is although I KNEW THE STORY AND HISTORY OF JO PATTERSON, I didn't know YOU UNTIL TODAY. I was West Coast under Benjamin Crouch so I did not get all the news and I was young. So funny I think we may have spoken in the early 90's when I was flirting with starting a record label because I remembered the guy I spoke with managed DeLeon. I remember because I was NEVER a fan of her music. I wish you would just stop.I am for TRUTH (which is why as an adult I left COGIC for another spiritual discipline, although I will FOREVER have love for COGIC) but I see no need to tear your Father down in books, interviews and such and then try and build him up at the same time. If you did do that hen you would have to do so with an UNBIASED source of news or entertainment and NOT THE SALIVATING DOG EARL CARTER IS. Why on EARTH would you go on his show? SAD, SAD INTERVIEW. And you know it was because you felt the need to go back and comment. You had to. You had no voice but the voice of condemnation which is his agenda. It was sickening. From ORAL ROBERTS TO KATHERINE KUHLMAN from, A.A. ALLEN TO EVIL HILL, JIMMY SWAGGART, all of these men were greatly flawed AND GREATLY USED BY GOD. Even Swaggart; NEVER HAVE YOU HEARD HIS SON TURN ON HIM he has carried his name on for THAT IS THE TRUE DEFINITION OF EVERLASTING LIFE-LEGACY! You are a learned man so am I. We may be in the same age group 50's but your vengeance (and yes I know it is a stron word but I think there is some passive aggression going on here) is PURELY EMOTIONAL and emotion driven. JO PATTERSON DID MUCH GOOD. HE PLAYED A VERY VITAL ROLE IN HISTORY. Just like other men of GOD who were flawed even in the Bible. Deal with your "daddy mommy issues" WITHIN YOUR OWN SOUL but don't offer your Father's legacy UP TO WOLVES AND DOGS LIKE CARTER where they are only interested in the smearing of blood to feed their sick righteous thirst.

First, your statement is based on a lack of full information... I have no problem with you stating your 'opinion', but opinion doesn't make it 'facts'. Facts of the matter is, I don't have to justify to you about speaking truthfully about my Father. Based on your statement, I guess you would think God and Prophet Nathan were wrong for exposing King David, and his killing a man to get his wife. I make no apology for speaking truthfully, publicly! As for Dr. Carter, I went on to talk about my book & Greenleaf and was blindsided by his comments. I was not going to get into an argument with him on the air for what he said concerning my dad. But I told him privately that I felt that was uncalled for and disrespectful. I also made public post stating the same. I don't seek 'vengeance' against my dad, you are as far left as a $3 bill on that. I love my father regardless of his flaws. But his past errors in judgement are NOT, a reason for me to hide my identity or the truth. And since you have not walked in my shoes, again, you are simply stating your 'opinion'. Its ironic every single member of Bishop C.H. Mason's Family supports me (see www.jopattersonministry.com/documents/ ); although many of my Nephews (Patterson) don't agree with me speaking publicly, they acknowledge it is my right to do so since he was my dad. So Sir, you have more negativity to contribute to my speach, than the directly related Family Members. As for your having heard about me, that's not my concern. You state you were a member of Bishop Crouch's church. Well, Andrae Crouch knew and supported me totally! In fact he even made a television commercial asking people to vote for me when I ran for City Council. Brother, I don't hate you for your opinion & I won't even remove it. But your assumptions are based on a lack of information, which translates to ignorance.

@@benj7620 I remember that picture of Bishop Mason going up to Jesus.I didn't know your mom drew that.I t was at Mother paige's home.I lived in the same neighborhood,I knew her grandson and his wife very well.I used to go to her home many times.I'm also a member of the COGIC,I'm almost 73.You didn't do anything wrong,you have a right to know your father.I loved Bishop JO Patterson,God pulled the cover off him you didn't.But I believe with all my heart he repented and went on to be with Jesus.This isn't new to many of us in the church,we knew a lot but we prayed for all involved.I pray Jesus will keep you in his perfect will.Just keep praying,Jesus understand even if others don't.Be encourage.
