At the beginning of the show, I never imagined how important his character would become over time. I think he's the one we all can relate to the most, so imperfect, so messed up, and still trying so hard to make things right. He had quite the worst hand being dealt to, no superpowers, no impeccable morality like Chloe, no psychological insight like Linda, no natural internal "spotlight" like Ella, nothing. He was just a normal guy, struggling, making crappy decisions, growing, regressing, growing again, that was so... human.

Daniel showed us how situations can change you, but in the end always keep trying to do the right thing, definitely the most human character. ✨

Dan was my favorite character in the show. He made mistakes but always tried to do the right thing. Love that guy.

Dan was one of my top comfort characters , he reminded me of my dad so much so when my dad passed it was so hard for me to lose them

Dan.... The character that we all disliked in Season 1 and then we all eventually LOVED him!! So glad he got his Happy Ending...

The amount of people that STILL shlt on Dan after everything he went through & continued to talk crap after his characters death blows my mind. He had one of the best character arcs in TV history in my opinion & it seriously took a lot away from the show with his loss

I think Dan has one of the best developments ever, I like how he becomes a better person, that's also one of the things the show tries to show us.🥺

honestly i really like Dan and i agree that he has an amazing character arc but i think him dying actually was great for the show because ghost Dan is such an amazing and tragic character and his loss was like a huge contributor to the growth of Ella, Maze, Lucifer, Trixie, Chloe and Amenadiel and also pretty much every character.

At the start I had mixed feelings about Dan, then he became one of my favourites. When I heard the gunshot I felt it, cried like a baby, stopped crying and then the funeral came and it all came out again. RIP Dan. Hope you have plenty of chocolate pudding now and not have to worry about anyone stealing it.
