Tribute to Nagesh sir: Ragam Pantuvarali at Tiruppugazh Anbargal

Tiruppugazh Anbargal concerts will be never the same without Nagesh sir who was a prolific Tiruppugazh exponent. His emotional singing gave divinity to the Tiruppugazh renditions which were themselves rich in bhava, musical elements and composed in complex tala.
I have been associated with Tiruppugazh Anbargal since 2004 when I first played for them. I was really fortunate to play for Guruji in 2005 just before starting my career. Everytime there are goosebumps when the singers pour their complete emotion into the renditions.
This concert happened in Sri Raya Raya Kalyana Mandapa in Chamrajpet near Shankar Mutt.
