Beautifully done. He had the looks, the voice and the style. Nobody else could have played Adam as well.

Loved Adam Cartwright with all my heart. Loved Pernell too and it broke my heart when he passed. I lost my beloved brother from the same deadly disease, pancreatic cancer, that Pernell battled. I still watch Bonanza reruns but it suffered after Adam left.

I just watched this today just now for the very first time and it made me cry. I am newly self-employed, doing what I love, and hoping to be successful. Loving who I am, and not being intimidated or daunted by negative people or obstacles. This was very nice, inspiring, and very hard to type through tears. Yes, a very good actor, a great show was Bonanza and great words spoken in this video. How do you say thank you? By living your life and fulfilling your dreams. Thank you

Beautiful video, beautiful music, i've been a fan of Bonanza for many years. I'm just grateful that that screwed up TV LAND channel hasn't scrapped it. I'm 43 years old and i appreciate shows like Bonanza but i kinda lose interest in watching the show a bit when they start showing the episodes after Pernell Roberts left. He was undoubtedly my favorite character especially his performance in the "The Crucible" episodes........OUTSTANDING! the ending was the absolute spectacular performance.

When I was growing up Adam was for sure my favorite cartright. He took no nonscense and used his head as well as his quick draw with a firearm. God bless you Pernell Roberts. You greatly influenced my life.

Wow, excellent tribute. Yesterday for the first time in I don't know how many years, I watched Bonanza with mom. It was corny but sweet and simple as life used to be. When I saw his face on the opening credits I read his name and then I knew who he is. I knew him as Trapper John MD. I was too young to remember his role in Bonanza for he had left the show by the time my memory retained it. I hope he had a great birthday, Taurus Style Baybee! God bless you!

NBC were very foolish not to let him come back as guest appearances on Bonanza when he left the show. They weren’t thinking of their viewers and how it would impact the show, they just let him leave. But Purrnell didn’t let that phase him, he still went on and made a great impact on others.

WOW, GREAT VIDEO! I know that PR has passed away quite sometime ago, but I am at a loss for words at this wonderful video! PR and the other actors in Bonanza will never be forgotten and will always remain the Cartwright family that will burn threw that map onto the Bonanza scene! PR was a true hero, a man of action and a man of purpose! He was willing to leave a show that was doing so well, when he did not agree with things. He needed to blaze his own path, and not follow the easy road.
