I miss my father. He died at 69 in Derbyshire, after starting work at 13 in Barnsley. He worked at different mines until he retired - stayed on a little while past his retiring age to close up the 'Denby Washery' coal plant, last man out, switched off the electrics. and locked the door - its last day of working and his also.
