My mother told me that after the relatives in Finland heard of her husband's death in 1926, they wanted her to return to Finland with all of the kids and they would give her a farm...if so, I would not be writing this, and my 3 uncles would have been in the wars and who knows what may have happened...one uncle was in the ETO with the army and returned in 1945, the other 2 were involved with iron ore mining.

At 0:56, you will see a menacing looking Russian Polikarpov I-16 aircraft firing its guns. However, sometimes overlooked is the fact that the vastly out numbered Finnish pilots, flying a variety of aircraft, most famous the Dutch built D-XXI Fokker, rendered the Soviet Air Force ineffective. The Finns scored better than 10-1 victories in the air-war. Sisu!

minä en kyllä puhu satuolennoista. ei varmaankaan taistelutilanteessa ehditty muuta ajatella kuin sen hetkistä tilannetta, mutta Jumalalla on ollut omat suunnitelmat suomen varalle, esimerkiksi maailman suurin herätys on lähtenyt Suomesta, eikä se olisi onnistunut ilman Neuvostoliiton pysäyttämistä.
