It was on this very day 12 years ago that we first met Trooper.
Thank you Jo (R.I.P) 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏, for insisting we get another puppy.
He was a beautiful boy. (R.I.P.) baby. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Labs are the best. Just wish they lived for 50 years. Morgan, Sam, Drake and Bodie. We love em all like children. He looked like an awesome buddy. When I die I hope the Rainbow Bridge is real. Would love to see all my old dogs and my dad again.

Thanks for the supportive reply. Initially it was a devastating loss... but after some reflection I realized that was only for my own selfish needs. When ever I leave the house I take that harness he is wearing with me and ask if he wants to go for a ride? You don't have to ask him twice.... He's ready..... and so Trooper, along with my other, as I refer to them, boyz, I sense are always at my side... looking after me and loving me right back. Peace 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi @johnnmetsu4153. I appreciate your sentiment, however I created the videos as a Tribute to Trooper's life, not for mourning his passing. I choose to remember all the good times we had together and hope that the videos are portraying that affection. Peace 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi Dan. It looks like your Trooper and my Croce have a lot in common. While Croce wasn't certified as a service dog, he would have been a great one. If you ever dropped something, he would run to pick it up for you. After each meal, he would bring his food dish, and his brother's food disk to us to be washed and put away. As I watched your video, I could see so much of Croce in him. I watched Trooper 2 as well. You can see your love for him in every frame. Watching your videos helped me to deal with our losing Croce. Thank you!

Hi, My ❤ goes out to you and your family about Croce's loss. Yes, they even look very similar... lovely job of putting the video, aptly named, together. 👍 I'm sure that Croce is smiling down at you from Heaven. We adopted Trooper from Southeastern Guide Dogs but he wasn't officially a guide dog either. They told us he was going to develop dysplasia in his front elbows when he got older.... but thank God that never developed. Well, no, there's one difference. When Trooper brought us his bowl it meant he wanted more food 😂. .... but I noticed that Croce had a good sniffer 👃 on him too.... I would tell people that if we hadn't taken Trooper he would have been an excellent candidate for the ATF... 😉 :lol: My sister would often say to people that when she came back in the next life she wanted to come back as one of my dogs..... I tried to spoil each and every one of them, starting with Muffin, a Lab/Springer Spaniel mix) who is also Eulogized in one of my videos. I never had any children, so to me, they were boys, boyz... as I would refer to them. Each one of them was very special.... and I thank God for allowing all of them to be a part of my life.
