खूप सुंदर आणि भावपूर्ण चित्रपट आहे. दिलीप कुमार, अशोक कुमार, नर्गिस, निम्मी सगळ्यांचे अभिनय खूपच सुंदर! त्यांच्या अभिनयाला तोडच नाही. गाणी तर एकापेक्षा एक सरस आणि अर्थपूर्ण आहेत. नव्याच्या तुलनेत मला हेच जुने चित्रपट पहायला फार आवडतात. ब्लॅक अॅन्ड व्हाईट असले तरी - ' जुने ते सोने 'आहे.

First of all I would like to appreciate the story of the movie which is not only unique but also absorbing. The songs written by Shakeel Badayuni are well worded and cent per cent in accordance with the situation. Their composition is also marvellous by NAUSHAD. Ashok, Nargis, Nimmi and Murad have performed gracefully. The role played by DILIP is outstanding which will ever be remembered. Moreover the entire film has been directed by Nitin Bhose faultlessly. Above all I congratulate the producer Rajendr for producing such a great movie.
