Skied these for a week in Morzine France, amazing goggles. From bluebirds to full on rain there were no fog issues…. The Prizm snow sapphire lenses are amazing and work in 75% of conditions….. flat light is flat light and nothing will work but the HD and wide vision are amazing.

I have them and so far I am very satisfied, they sit well on my face and do not fog up. Please, how do I take care of the cleanliness of the inside of the lens so that I don't damage the antifog layer? Thank you.

I had my pair on while coaching at Big White last weekend, so a lot of standing around. Had a lot of ice forming along the top, inside the single lens. Haven’t had the problem when riding though. I switched he’d back to my Fall Lines for the Sunday.

The issue I have with mine is that after some time water condenses on top of the lens. It's probably because I ride Anon Raider 3 helmet which has no vents for goggles. Not end of the world problem but good to check you helmet as I didn't have that issue with other Oakleys.

Same for me: fogging starts at about 25% from the top of the lens during the second descent and reaches 50% by the third. I've never had this issue with my other goggles.

Same for me. In snowfall the fog freezes on the lense. No problem with flight decks in same conditions

Same here. Fogging in sunny conditions…

It appears that the fit is causing the condensation issue. I typically wear a size S-M helmet, and my glasses are large. While tightening the strap helps somewhat, it doesn’t fully resolve the problem.

I've had mine since yesterday and the only thing they can do is fog. Now I know why they have 2 lenses and a quick-change system. Because it is necessary, as the lens has to be changed every 2 minutes

Single lens is interesting feature as I had moisture get between my ashburys last year and it was killer when fogging. At this point though, who is the person paying $200 CAD+ for goggles? The quick change systems are cool but I just can't stomach paying that much for molded plastic... goggle prices are a joke.

A couple sessions with them and moister forms bad on the inner lens. Had to switch back to my older scratched up flight decks to finsh the day.

Just got these, and although they are otherwise amazing and the low light lens is brilliant, with my Asian nose bridge and plus celcius wet degrees we had in early winter in Finland, these did fog on me. Never had any fogging with any other brands and regular line miners. We are getting proper minus degrees after new year so let's see if they will fog when it's drier.

Tried at -5 to -9 celcius, no fogging to be reported. All good on that front.

What do you guys think of photochromic lenses, which automatically adjust tint?
@eugene937Ай бұрын
Ive had their photochromic lenses for sungalsses but not their ski goggles, if they work the same they are pretty good but know that they dont change immediately! From clear to dark its pretty quick but from dark to clear takes about 5-10mins! For skiing/ snowboarding it may be fine, but when i used them for cycling i had a few issues with them when cycling into tunnels/ quick changes from bright areas to dark areas and had to remove them like i would a normal pair of sunglasses. Oh and side note, the photochromic abilities will decrease over time, and it wont transition to as clear as it was when you first bought it. But by all means give it a go if its something that interests you!

@@eugene937 I have the atomic revent with photochromic lens. It works pretty well, contrast in blowing grey days isn’t great BUT every other part of only needing 1 lens is dope.

Just ran the Oakley Line Miner Pro L in Kiroro over the past week and the Iced Iridium lens was insanely good in clouded conditions. No issues with fogging with the new lens tech but only downside was that the outside of the lenses do get damaged fairly easily (had scratches on the outside post a fall). Another drawback is that the nose frame moves separately from the lens (for some reason it doesn’t lock down around the nose bridge). Otherwise, had a few good stares from riders on the chairlifts, which is a good testament to Oakley’s reach!

These goggles are TRASH! Fine on a dry day, unusable when it's snowing and humid. Fogs like crazy at the top to the point where water starts running down the inside of goggles, sometimes it fogs up and freezes. For Oakley to release such an unfinished/untested product for such price is a joke. Never ever buying Oakley again unless they let me return this junk.

Anyone ells have a hard time paying half the price of a snowboard. for a pair of goggles...
@pro_grapistАй бұрын
Paying full price is a lot but good goggles do make a difference on the mountain. You can get these goggles at a discount for ~200 and while that's still a lot, it's not too bad of a deal considering you get 2 lenses and Oakley lenses are of great quality.
@RunetoneАй бұрын
@@pro_grapist yes but i got a normal pair of Line miners. On sale last year for around 85 USD. The cheapest i can find the pro model for is 265. I do live in europe. maybe cheaper in your part of the woods. Still that is 2/3 of a snowboard on sale. you pay alot for that large O :) Even with the great quality and all.
@pro_grapistАй бұрын
@@Runetone Yeah I agree that they are expensive and you do pay for the name. Other top brands like Smith or Anon are not cheaper though. Whether there are significant performance/quality benefits to justify the extra $ you pay when comparing to cheaper brands is debatable, but from my experience these top brand's lenses feel better to look through. I'm in Europe as well, got the Liner Miner Pro's from snowinn for ~200€ couple of weeks ago, they have them for 189.99€ currently but only one colorway, other's are sold out.

The Oakley system is likely an IP (patent) workaround Burton’s magnetic lens system. The additional Oakley click-in is marketed as a “impact safety”, but the Anon magnets are strong and can’t simply just come off in 99% of impacts. I do like the Oakley single lens logic, since I’ve had a ton of lenses fog up internally between lenses. Be curious to see how that performs/compares. I use Anon M4s because of the MFI facemask magnetic integration which is by far the best innovation I’ve ever used for goggles. Otherwise, I had used Oakleys for a long time.
