Why, why, WHY does the government make this so freaking difficult? (on purpose?) I have multiple Degrees, served 24 years Air Force and it's still stupid confusing!!!!! When I went in late 70's I always thought I (and Family) would have 100% Medical. Even when I retired I thought I had Tricare for my wife and I. NOPE!! STUPID confusing BS!!!

Can your spouse (under 65) be in Tricare Prime while the service member (retired of course) is on Medicare/TCL? And currently, you pay an "enrollment fee" for Tricare, it appears that fee goes away with TCL.

Hello, I don't understand your comment about using a VA facility. If I go to the VA I would use my VA coverage not my Medicare or TCL. The VA would, and does, cover 100%. So I would NOT use Medicare for my VA benefits. I don't understand where the $320 would come in, it makes no sense to me?

9:14 AM 1/17/2022 Tricare is actually pretty good. I thought it was only for people still in uniform under oath like US military?

Its like a nightmare to sign up for Tricare when you get out of military.

Since Ronny Reagan , up the retirement age to 67, why do we need to get Medicare at 65. This is not right.

This forces people like me to have to apply for Social Security Retirement at age 65 (and take a % cut) … in order for my Medicare Plan B to be paid for -> from my S.S.R. It is absolutely NOT FAIR! Government is cheating people who paid into S.S.R.

I agree. Now, when I turn 65, I will have to pay for Medicare part B which if I'm lucky will be $174/month. I'm only paying currently $50/month for my tricare plus family plan. I rarely need medical care and I do not plan to collect SSN until I reach 67. When I turn 65, I will be stuck paying a higher monthly fee to maintain health care coverage. Just doesn't feel right.
