I started to crochet in March of last year and your triceratops pattern was what finally helped me really GET crochet! It was the first project I ever finished! I’ve made SO MANY different ones since then 😅 I love making them whenever I just need to do something with my hands while life goes on around me because I know the pattern so well I can sort of “zone out” and focus better on what is happening around me! I just followed this new version and I made a rainbow version stuffed with beads for my daughter 🥰🌋

Hi Louie new subscriber here. Just wanna say that you teach better than all these other channels and I don't wanna be sexist cz I am a woman myself but I follow your tutorials and instructions much better than the female crotcheters who make videos. Thank you

Hey louie im having trouble with the stichs coming out wierd and it being to loose or too tight any tips??
@ClubCrochet9 күн бұрын
That's called gauge, it's kinda hard to fix outside of practice, but essentially chill out... but not too much. Lol. Real tips are to use a slightly larger or smaller crochet hook helps with tension, and adjusting your tension after every stitch to have a more uniform tension also helps. Join our next livestream and I'll show you what I'm talking about. Thanks for the comment, and sorry for the late reply!

Im so utterly confused. I do it the exact way shown but everytime i have 4 extra stitches at the end of row 6??? I am definitely going into the right loops and even when i count before i make the frill there is too many. You are always left with 4 extra stitches. I had the same problem with the old tutorial and i just dont get it
@sunshine53423 ай бұрын
There is 18 sts in round 5. Then 6 sc plus the sc in flo and then 5 hdc from the frill plus one extra hdc and sc at the end which adds up to 14. So where is the other 4? What goes in those last 4 stitches???
@sunshine53423 ай бұрын
Or am i supposed to be skipping 4 somehwere? Its not said or explained and i dont understand how im the only one having this issue cause the math aint mathing
@ClubCrochet3 ай бұрын
@@sunshine5342 Hey there! So your not doing 5 hdc, you'd be doing 10 for the frill. Rnd 6: sc 6, working in the FLO, sc 1, [hdc 1, mp, hdc 1] repeat 5 times, sc 1 (18 [+5 mp]) The section "[hdc 1, mp, hdc 1] repeat 5 times" should equal to 10 hdc sts plus the 5 mp sts between (which doesn't count towards stitch count). The entire section between the [ brackes ] is repeated. You can see it most clearly watching through this section 25:39 Hope that helps! Let me know if you'd like me to show you in our livestream on Friday!
