RTP in Ragamala….not in jog……Carnatic artists fails to give justice to a single raga ….or is it nowadays fashion…?

Ragam, thaanam and pallavi in Jog. The other Ragas are an extension of the piece itself. Not sure where the question of justice comes in. This is 45 mins in a 2.5 hours concert. And to throw around rhetoric questions like 'is this fashion?' is just counter productive to any art form. Some people have a talent in identifying issues where there is none. Next time try to broaden your horizon a little bit. Enjoy the music next time with an open mind. Peace.

@@neelneck Yes, I agree , am too late to get entry in to this music. bt fr those hu also very much adapted to Hindustani as well as Drupad music, this couldn’t digestible….may b bcz North Indian music is Bhaav Pradhan, nd when a singer jumps from Yaman Kalyan to Thodi, th mood get disturbs…that what I really mean ….NAMASKAR ji…
