Great tip! When it comes to cutting do you take out the line?

Thanks! As far as the cut is concerned, it depends on your cutting method. Using a stomp shear or other types of shears you will be just cutting on the edge of your mark. For using a cut-off wheel or similar tool you will end up drawing a line across your panel but you'll still use the edge of the marks. It will end up taking out your line if your marks are on the side you don't need.

If I have a critical measurement I use dychem and a scribe. If it isn't a critical mark I'll use a sharpie or your extended nose marker or your silver mark all.
