We can work with lipstick using lipliner but the end shade comes out completely different and mostly like the lipliner so basically if you can purchase a colour that's suits you, then better purchase that only! But still that's an amazing trick :)

I just commented on wanting a part 2... I forgot how late I was to the party, lol! Your technique makes the lip color look flawless! I had tried using a darker lip liner under a lighter lipstick in the past, but as you might expect - it turned out very 90s. Do you think this would be a good technique to deepen other shades too, like berries or reds? Thank you for making this video!

lol, thank you 😊I think the trick it to blend it well so it doesn't look like 90s 😉 Yes, using a darker lip liner with any shade including red and berries will add dimension to the lips and make it look fuller/poutier 😊 and thank you for watching it 😘

Lol 😄 I have definitely seen a few people wear such unflattering shades. Brands make these colours for lighter skin tones and it can work as a good nude on them. But not so much on tan to dark skin tones 😄

Yes, you just have to be quicker in blending the edges..

The darker lip liner grounds the nude lipstick along the edges.. it's still the same color in the center of my lips and is the only way its going to look flattering on pigmented lips.. 🤷🏽‍♀️
