Now I know how to care for them the right way to look beautiful like yours.

The Purple Heart plant is much under rated here in the states . I’ve been using it in the garden for its brilliant contrast to the all the green foliage. After studying its strong growth habits , I decided it would make a very nice hanging basket. So I hope mine looks as good as yours !

Ok the kid was my favorite part of this video. I came here because my purple heart went from looking normal to basically looking like a bunch of baby green stems and baby green skinny vines. Youde never know it was a purple heart. Unfortunately this video didnt answer the only question I had which was "what the heck does it mean to pinch off or snip the shoot tips" because whenever I trim my plant it just grows back exactly the same way as b4 I trimmed it if it was already baby stems and baby leaves OR if it was big thick nice vines and I trim them then its ruined and the thick vine never comea back, just a little green baby vine will end up budding off the side of the thicker vine. This is all I can get it to do these days. Its not dying, but all it does is just grow new little baby green buds off the nodes of the original thicker cuttings I planted, many of which rotted at some point and I had to pull off. Some are even down to the soil level but still producing new buds of skinny green vines that never get thicker, just longer and then I have to trim those back. I really dont get why its so much work to just make a plant grow the way its supposed to look. Its like if you have 3 plants in your house its just as much work as having a cat. 20 plants and you may as well get a couple dogs or quit your job. Why does every plant I touch in my life end up dead or looking like absolute shit??! IT SHOULDNT BE THIS HARD!!
