Hi, I wonder if I can ask a question. First, this is the only tutorial I could find that talks about matching drum with melody. Countless people are talking about drumming. But they don’t take about this. How odd? This is the most important when it comes to drumming. It is not about how cool the drum sounds. It is the rhythm matches the melody. The Groove. Thank you very much for making this wonderful video. The rhythm in your tutorial matches perfectly with the melody. I can’t wait to do the same. But I don’t understand the 808 part that starts at 11:10. You said “If you want this to be in harmony and rhythm with your melody, you don’t go outside of the guide (the baseline).” Basically, the baseline runs the entire length of the melody. Anywhere I place a beat, it won’t go outside of the grid. Correct me if I am wrong. I really don’t understand this part of following the baseline. And baseline is subjective. For the same melody, I can come up with a different baseline. Another thing, you said you already have a video on this (I assume another tutorial on 808), may I have it? Thanks a lot.

Thank you dady for the vid that really helped on this project I'm working on. I overthink everything and haven't finished a full song cuz I'm over thinking the repetitive part and everything to the point of adding lyrics. Should I do some vocals to see if anything else is necessary? So ots pretty much same melody with some variation or you could do just variation on drums and turn down melody? BTW don't be creeper out by saying the dady thing that's just what me and bro say when we're exited about stuff lol
