Miles Okazaki has become my favorite modern jazz musician. He is developing his own style and sounds. God bless him. My kind of player.

Love the compositional slant to your improvisations and the sense of space in your compostions.

Enjoyed the slightly more spacious feel arising from the slower tempo and extended improvisations on this version compared to the studio release. Thanks for sharing.

I really like it , so diferent from the usual jazz guitar player, for me it' s more like King crimson jazer from outer space jaja.

@@milesokazaki 😂 I still can’t believe it even after reading the score! I keep getting pulled away by the vines. 😜 Awesome tune! It’s always fascinated me. Very unique vibe and habitat, as with all of your compositions.

@@paulgerards6494 sorry I actually think the drums are too loud on this take but I see what you're saying. Quiet the drums a bit and the guitar can come down

Sorry to disappoint you. DGAF about your opinion or making music that "sells." But even bad Bernard Hermann sounds pretty good, so I'll take that. McLaughlin doesn't groove at full tempo, so your other comment also makes sense.
