I saw this deck at our local Barnes and Noble. I was drawn to it and decided to come on youtube and take a look at some reviews! Thank you so much for this. It's beautiful. While they are pips, they have a lot of information in the book. I'm more of an oracle person, but I'm really being drawn to this deck!

It's about Monkey magic!! (I'm old and remember the badly dubbed 80's version. It was amazing). No way. I think this will be closest I would get to a fan deck (you know like Lord of the Rings decks and such like).

I am SO glad you mentioned this ! I hadn't heard of it so I watched the theme song and OH MY GOODNESS ! I can see why it was iconic !

@Catomancy Tarot it truly was iconic. It was deep, hilarious, mysterious, and had impossible kung-fu scenes that we kids would try to recreate. "Monkeyyyyyyyy" Ordered the deck and an abridged version of "The Journey to the West" I'm going in.

Quick question. Has anyone has an issue with this deck coming cut terribly? I’ve just received my 2nd copy because the first one was cut so badly that the corners are all different. The 2nd copy is the same, just not quite as bad. I love the deck, but now I don’t know if I should order another copy.
