Jeanatte Salazar Does Trish have any other elements to her mobility? Since I can't play stick I have to use the 360 pad instead so trying to tri-dash is a lot less easier than it should be to me.

***** Her ground plink dash has pretty good speed. I would still recommend you try to learn tri-dashing. Not just for Trish. A few in the cast benefit from it. I don't play on pad, so I really can't judge the difficulty.

Jeanatte Salazar I'm trying to learn everything that you showed x) The difficulty of not having a stick is just basically trying to input down back and you get a accidental backwards srk or something like that. :/ I'll get around to having a stick eventually.

Thanks! I would say make sure you're at the right height at the start of the infinite and keep practicing. I personally started with the down TAC and then practiced up and side from there.

Hi Ryan, make sure that if you use M -> Stiletto Kick, you time the M low to the ground. This is how I get that combo to work. I personally use L -> Stiletto Kick or just do the double jump or dash M, H combos simply because of that factor that the relaunch causes you to get crossed-up.

Sorry for the late reply. Personally I would order the team Dante/Trish/Vergil mostly so you can DHC to Round Harvest and hard tag Dante back in. Also I would suggest Jam Session as opposed to Crystal. Trish w/ Jam Session is very effective. As far as tips, just work on maximizing dash output on her solo combos and work on her XF3 loops. Hope that helps.

if i might add, the best way to get a quick dash is to super jump then quickly air dash. it also goes with a lot of characters like doom whos mobility is terrible. if you super jump then dash down its a good substitute for his lack of wave dash. some combos like magento's hyper grav. loops ca only be performed if you do that

His is a very quick/brief couple of tutorials compared to yours, and just wanted to know if you think there is anything he says, that is worth elaborating/expanding on? In the combo first BnB, starting at 5:38, I'm having a really hard time with the forward jump L after the peekaboo. My opponent keeps coming out of hitstun before I can connect the L. Any tips?

+soulshade You can press L right after the jump. I think its a matter of finding the timing. :)

I really like this video Since i decided to pick up Trish. It's got a lot of info and no doubt the best Trish information on KZbin. Good Stuff. One question though. How do you consistently do the tac infinite I always get to about 3 reps then they are too low for my M to hit.

Its decent in corner, but I've had it cross up midscreen. I would say either of those options. I like it vs characters who are much smaller when ducking. Sometimes you go right over them with H.

Thank you! To answer your question, its just a matter of knowing the timing of when you're able to dash in jump state. So I just super jump, and two button dash. Sorry, not sure how else to explain ^^;

This was really cool. I've always found Trish's double jump to be really awkward to combo with, which is probably the main reason why I never played her. One thing, you mention that her j.S is useful but it seems like j.H has a similar hitbox, but is also cancellable. When would you use j.S as a starter?

Nice video! For the combo at 13:07, after landing and call Doom, tk Max Voltage, I have problems letting the opponent fall onto the top of round trip. I noticed in another one of your videos with the same combo, you mentioned walk back, then call Doom. Is the tk of the max voltage necessary, do I want do be doing this fast or slow?

Sorry for taking a while to reply. Yes, I think this would work with her. Trish/Nova/Strange or Nova/Trish/Strange in that order.

I would say 1st or 2nd is a very appropriate slot for her. I place her 2nd on my main team (keep away team) and 1st on my secondary team. I personally feel she's not as strong as other characters as an anchor, but she can make do with what she's got. Problem with her on point is that she doesn't do a ton of damage (compared to other characters), so best to keep her 2nd to extend combos after DHC'ing to Round Harvest. Did that help? Let me know!

One question: How do you do the OTG Max Voltage so close to the ground T_T I can't seem to do it without fully jumping or coming down from an air combo. Thanks! I hope it helps you! I use a stick and the motion is just a tiger knee motion (d to uf). I come from MvC2 days and I used Cable, so I got pretty familiar with keeping low to the ground. I would just keep practicing. ^^

Exactly right, Just input the max voltage like normal, except you keep going past forward to up forward, which will jump trish in the air, when you press the two attack buttons to initiate max voltage it will occur in the air. The game sort of lets the improper input count anyway.

Walking back provides you enough space so that when the missles come down, the blade will hit. You have to eyeball the distance (at least that is what I do). Make sure that when you TK Max Voltage you're as low to the ground as possible. I've honestly never tried it without the TK, but I will tonight. :)

What is Trish's primary role on a team? I generally see her placed second, but her assist doesn't seem good enough (compared to missles and drones) to keep her in that position. Are the unblockables with round harvest a bnb are what keep her in the second position, or is it just because she doesn't really excel in point or anchor?

If you're going to run this team I'd say Trish would go in the second slot. She builds good meter if you go into TAC infinites. I think Mag on point is just better in the long run.
