Dr. John D. McDowell speaks at the International Press Conference concerning the “Tridactyl Beings of Nasca: The Definitive Proof” held in Lima Peru April 4th 2024, Dr. John D. McDowell, winner of the Gradwohl Medallion for Forensic Medicine, has agreed to head a new US forensics team to investigate the Tridactyl Beings of Nasca Peru, a new group of professional North American scientists from the United States have joined the investigation of the Nasca Tridactyl Mummies, all agreeing to point out that they are authentic biological specimens, but that much more research is still needed. Dr. John McDowell, coroner of the University of Colorado and former president of the US Academy of Forensic Sciences and winner of the 2024 Gradwohl Medallion which is "intended to honor one who has made exceptional contributions and is the highest honor of the AAFS and is the foremost peer award in the forensic sciences". His research group also consist of Dr. William Rodríguez, physician and forensic anthropologist of the state of Maryland and Dr. James Caruso, forensic scientist and coroner of Denver, Colorado.
