Don’t usually watch many videos with people fishing from a kayak. But you have a great style to you. And enjoy your fishing techniques. Keep up the great work. Happy Holidays. When spring comes you should come to Staten Island for some COWBASS

That's my fav spearfishing spot, Elias. The Sheep are plentiful. Winter time, as I'm sure I figured, the side with the most sun usually wins. ; ). Take care

Really enjoy your channel never disappointed thank you for the time and effort you put into it. I can't watch some of the other channels anymore. I feel like I'm watching a late night infomercial it's ridiculous. You can tell you love and enjoy what you do definitely a true fisherman. Have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from Massachusetts

Congratulations to 03Hobie. Elias, would you please tell us a little more about the rod - weight, length, etc and how/when/where you choose to use it over anything else? That would be a BIG help to many of us who follow you and have much to learn. Most of us probably don't live near the seashore and so have little knowledge and experience to go on. We're also very unlikely to gain much experience on the water with what little time we actually have left.

This kind of fishing, the fisherman has all the advantages over fishes, with fish finder, fishermen can bring his kayak closer to the fishes and cast closer to the fishes as well.
@swimmerdawg1235 жыл бұрын
@eliasvfishing have you been tempted to place a motor on your kayak for covering distance quicker and then switching the the pedals? Currently considering it for my outback but know I am just adding steps to what should be a simple platform.

Water cooling down, metabolisms rise, inhaled, huh? "They need food." Para-phrase from a movie, but suits the occasion. A while back, you caught a multi-spotted red, had 3, maybe 4 spots. Interesting catch.

So I tried the blue crab thing finally. Do you have the issue where, for about 50% of them, they completely come apart when you try to hook them? I'm going in through the leg holes, and trying to come through the top shell, but the hook coming through splits the shell into pieces rather than just punching through. That's a bit frustrating.

I know exactly what you mean about the current. Wouldn't even think about the inlet, but have done a ton of surf fishing over the years and it gets weaker every time. I know they stopped kayaks from dropping shark baits there. One can only dream!
