I guess you achieved the look you were going for but the practical side of me would never feel comfortable with such little ground clearance. I was driving behind an SUV when it drove over a small chunk of concrete in the middle of the road with no problem. Unfortunately I did not have time to evade or the space as there were cars on either side of me and another following close behind. The front facia took a hit and the oil pan was badly damaged. In addition looking at the clearance when the wheel is turned sharply to either side any bump in the road may result in contact with the fender lip. This was posted a couple years ago how's your experience been since then ?

The only reason I installed the KW Coilovers because my car is non z51 . It changes the ride and that’s how I was able to lower the car. Installed #2 1/2 hours by professional installer The cost like $3800 to $3900 dollars

Hi Juan thanks for the feed back that is correct I lowered the car only with the coilover shocks. I may have made a mistake with the measurements but the shop lowered my car with the shocks being adjusted that’s all. I hope I answer your question

Hi Scott yes I brought the wheels in Black and I took the car home and my 20 inch wheels look like 18 inch wheels . Black wheels to me are a very tricky color. All my vehicles have factory sliver wheels . So I looked at my sliver stock wheels for a week and said to myself . What if I powder coat my wheels sliver. I tried it and man the wheels pop now . The stock sliver wheels look nice but not wide enough that’s all . I’m new to KZbin and I’m going to get better because of people like you with your comments . Thanks

The KW Springs was a little project because the vehicle in the front was slammed then 30 mins with the real easy adjustment then the height was just where I wanted it.

Hi Brad if you have the stock GM Coil overs you can lower your car with the front lift . I’m now to sure how low. Now my C8 did not have Coil over and I did not have a front lift so I didn’t have to do a lot of research . But if you want to get your answer a little more in detail I would suggest that you put that question out to a couple of Facebook corvette group and I’m sure you will get your answer . With the KW Coil over shocks system if you looking to changed your factory shocks out there customer services will be happy to answer all of your concerns and question that you affine for check in make sure you subscribe to my channel if you haven’t already thank you Ryan

@@martinharrison6801 No Rub at all ! With the KW Coilovers you can adjust the height up and down a lot . When I first let the car down it was lower than you see now I click the height up like 7 times to the height I wanted . I Didn’t do anything special to the wheels. The C8 has a lot of clearance

Front 245 30 Rear 325 25 20 My car ride like a Lambo because I changed my suspension to KW Coilovers. Understand when you go to 30 & 25 height on your tires you will fill the road but after 5 or 6 rides you will love the sporty fill if you want comfort ride you want have that anymore

Damn, just checked and those coilovers are $3500 + the cost of install. I think I'll either stay at stock height or get the Z51 package on the 2021 I have a deposit on to order when my allocation comes up. I was set on non-Z51 but I didn't realize you couldn't lower them. If coilovers are going to cost me $4k, might as well spend an extra $2k to get the factory coilovers plus everything else the Z51 comes with. Then again, although the lowering took it to another visual level, your car still looked great at stock height. Hmm, decisions, decisions...

I ordered a black 2LT package with red calibers, red interior, engine package, performance exhaust. I will never go to a track so the z51 package would not benefit me. @@kelbej1 First off when I order my car it was a 1LT with regular shocks and I didn’t know I needed Coilovers to lower my car. This was my first vette. So I have to changed my complete suspension to lower my car. I’m very happy but. Could have order a 2Lt and I could have lower the car with the factory Coilovers. All in All you spec you order is right on you are going to be so happy with your car . Is it a Convertible?

Hi Blake I have had the wheels on for a week and they really are easy to clean with just hot soap and water . I don’t have a lot of brake wear on them at all also I have not Ceramic coat them I drive the car and clean the wheels after every drive I have always did that and my rims hold up very well

Now the pros and cons are the KW Coilover are mostly to me for racing and that really personally excite me.
